Amazing Excel features and also well presented. Thank you. I wonder how in your video you highlight (in the green) the commands/areas which you focus on
Flash fill popped up for me when I had to combine very complicated product list from suppliers in 3 different countries all with their own way of inputting the specs. Flash fill probably saved me 8 hours of manually sorting them out.
Hello Mynda this a great video like the rest of them. I love the channel and learn a lot. I’m try to see the video of formula by example and link in not on this video. If you can share it that will be great.
Excellent.. simply superb... pl tell, how is lambda is different from macros? Also if we share the sheet having lambda functions with others, would our lambda functions be also copied or shared?
So glad you enjoyed it! Macros are VBA code and require the file to be saved as a .xlsm format. This has security risks associated with it, which is why you must 'enable' the file before you can use it. It's just another overhead of using VBA/Macros. This issue isn't present with LAMBDA functions which are treated like regular functions. If you share a file containing a LAMBDA, the receiving user also has the LAMBDA in the file.
@@MyOnlineTrainingHub awesome.... thanks for abundant clarity. Pl also guide about pivot and unpivot data in power query. I need clarity in my concepts
Great stuff again. Has the Insert Reccommended Pivot Tables been updated? I still get the old version with a dialog box not a task pane, similar or same table options but no new sheet / existing sheet option
Thanks for the video. Analyse data is not great say compared to Cognos analytics where analytics is very much advanced and meaningful. Is there any add-in or some other tool that can be purchased to do similar in Excel or BI
Microsoft's BI tool like Cognos is Power BI. I agree, it would be great to have that functionality in Excel. One option if you require more advanced charting, is to use the new Python charts and data analytics in Excel: th-cam.com/video/IuqE6uh2Z9w/w-d-xo.html
I'm not sure what rectangles you mean, but presumably the ones that are drawn on. If so, they are done with my video editing software: Camtasia Studio.
Love that Excel Labs Lambda function, BUT there is no way I'm agreeing to that privacy policy. My data just doesn't look safe or private. Microsoft really need to give that better thought.
Interesting. I can see the add-in so not sure why they would block it for you. Maybe it's a regional restriction. You could try changing your settings to English-US to see if that changes things.
Flash fill is not working Formatted dates field for me - Its showing an error- We didn't fill in values because the displaying formatting for some cells in the active column is using a different level of precision than the underlying value. Can you explain this?
Sounds like the dates in some of the cells also contain a time component. If you change the date format to Number, you will see the underlying date serial number. If you're still stuck, please post your question and sample Excel file on our forum where someone can help you further: www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-forum
Is there a built in formula or AI tool that will quickly look up information or description of a product and fill it in for you? For example, if I have a product in Column A such as Adobe Pro (A2). Description in column B, the tool will quickly look up (search on the web) a description for Adobe Pro and fill into B2. I wonder if a tool exist?
Can you please tell me how I use the function filter to show Date Cases Management Date column that is 90 days back, and then also show all the Final Class as "No", and show Dismissed as "No". I am struggling with the 90 days. I used this formula: =FILTER(A2:h4462,(A2:A4461>=today()-90)*(E2:E4446=12)*(F2:F4461=J3),"Nothing"). I filters, but is not showing the dates 90 days back because it is also showing 8/9/23, 7/25/23, 6/30/23. It would be 90 days back if showed only beginning of June and previous months. Also it will show previous months and years if the Final Class and Dismissed is blank(="No") which is ok this part, that's the purpose. The nurses have 90 days to provide diagnose(final class) from the date she was assigned the Case Management Date. Thank you.
