cool tip with that tape, you can get one off, then use that one to pull the rest off. it sticks to itself really good and makes it easier to peel up all the tape put down. Found out by accident and been using it since. just TIP
Hey …. To start I watch your video’s all the time …. Love learning even tho I don’t own a laser or cvc … (old guy nothing better to do ) so anyways I was wondering what program you use to get the gcode to the machine … I like the shapeoko but I like Vcarve ..but I know you have to use another program for the gcode ? Thanks your doing a great job!
I don’t think it will. It is made by carbide specifically for the Shapeoko 5 pro. It is made to work with 65mm or 80 mm spindles. It has pieces that change out.
@@TheClackShack Thanks I got it figured out. Soooo many things to lean. thanks for the video and thanks for the super quick reply. New subscriber for sure

For sending the file, I use Carbide 3D's software that comes with the machine. Carbide Motion. Thanks for watching..
Love your dust boot setup. Will it fit onefinity and who makes it

Hey, thanks for the video. I did not realize you have a Cnc. Do you know which Cnc machines work with Mac?
Mine will... carbide3d.com/carbidemotion/download/
Can u cut out dough bowls on this router?
Could, yes. Two sided project.
Hi, I was wondering if you would share when you would do Cnc vs laser cut
It depends on the desired look. Also, the CNC can cut thicker and different materials
Just moved from Carveco to VCarve. Why is it my Rough Pass Tool section looks nothing like yours.
Tool libraries will differ if that is what you are talking about. You have to add the tools to the library.

You can just hit create vector boundary instead of tracing.
I always do things the hard way… lol
