Hi. I have a version that doesn’t have the screw slot to remove the valve. Mine isn’t producing enough gas so not sure how to inspect or clean in. Any advise? Thanks!

I have 2 line-1 ST Dupont Lighters, 9:34 one bigger and one small. Both need good service and may be replacement of rubber rings (sealers). Please let me know, can I send you lighters from Pakistan and will you be kind enough to repair and service it for me, I’ll be grateful. How can I send you, the “Charges” ?
Yes that is how it is designed to work. If the gas keeps coming out after the lid is closed then you have to replace the regulator valve or just sell the lighter for parts and start over with a another one.

If you put the flint wheel the wrong way, the sparks still go the same direction, but the wheel’s teeth will be less sharp so will produce less spark.
Best to use a small coin to open refill cap. Less chance of scratching it.

Ebay is my best bet. Or just buy a broken lighter of the same type and use it for parts
How exactly do you get it to a flamethrower like yours though do you have to install a different part? I like the big flame myself.
You can mess around with the valve below where the flame comes out of.

Does the lid shut off the gas when it closes? I can’t seem to work it out, and to me it seems like the gas constantly runs
