Well, if you want to get rid of a good percentage of the audience, then yes. Personally, I watch Kevin Smith show for Marc's contributions. Not sure I'd have the patience for the all-Kevin all-the-time show.

The Invisibles would be an amazing series/movie...the world (at this moment) could use the knowledge and insights illustrated by the work as a whole.
When there are two hosts and one guest you put him on one side and not in the middle in a setup like this. I think they learned their lesson since poor Marc is looking at Grant's back 90% of the time...lol

They would have to get Ellis to do Transmet. I agree it could be a TV show, but that comic was so ahead of its time that a lot of the stuff in it is common place and real now, and not so much a distopian future. It’s almost like we live in a distopian present.

I was brought up on 2000AD from birth in 75,only stopped collecting in 2000,got back into reading graphic novels in 2007 and have since cleaned out 5 libraries of content,grants work is exceptional and I'm sure happy is only the first of many projects to come

I have loved Grant Morrison for decades. The only letter I ever wrote to a comic book was to Doom Patrol, and they published it! It's nice to see that he's not a douche, and it makes me laugh to see that, like me, he's got a bit of a gut at our age LMAO

Marc, as far as Marvel films go, and I'm a fan, you nailed it. "TV on the grandest scale" is the perfect explanation of the Marvel formula.
As someone that has had seizures, I can agree with what christa said... my experience has always been a place of fast moving lights and sounds that break into the most europhic place...and thats just a seizure....
Kev, when you have a guest if you stand with mark and have the guest stand where you are in this video then the guest will be facing the camera when they look at you. That said the back of Grant's big bald head is a glorious thing to behold.
Disney isn't spending $60 billion for the X-Men and FF, they would have gotten those rights regardless without spending a penny no matter who Fox ended up selling their assets to. Fox is only leasing those rights, they don't own them, therefore they cannot sell them. No matter who Fox ended up selling to, once their film division no longer exists those rights automatically revert to Marvel because they were only on lease.
Those Marvel properties are irrelevant in this deal because Disney would have gotten them back for free no matter what. The reason Disney is interested in this deal is for all the OTHER content Fox currently has. Disney is starting that streaming service and is going to need content for it, that's where there mind is at. X-men and FF is a nice bonus but they would have gotten that anyway.

Not only did we not see Grants lovely mug some of the time, he had his back to Marc nearly the whole time. Bad social dynamic as well as bad camera / interview set up.
Ivadinuff Shudupyabitch yeah you could tell it was affecting Marc & making him uncomfortable in engaging in the conversation freely. Marc pretty much just spoke when he was spoken to once Grant Morrison came out.

I've been a fan of Fat Man since the very first episode and while it's great to get all my geek news from my favourite geek gods, I must admit a yearning for the days of Fat Man past that featured creators and contributors to the world of The Bat. The Mark Hammill episodes are the 3 greatest hours of podcasting I've ever had the pleasure to slide into my ear-pussy! To get on topic, there is only a struck match separating your time with Mark from the aural adventure we all went on when you spoke with my favourite Scotsman, Grant Morrison. So when I was alerted to this episode I must admit to making noises similar to a teen girl at a (insert relevant teen boy band reference) concert. Squeeeee!! Thank you so much for bringing him back! What is the chance of you adding one more show to the SMODCAST network? I'm thinking "How to be a truly cool and funky human with Grant Morrison". Let me know what you think/feel about my suggestion.

I loved that show! I would still love to see him bring The Invisibles to the screen. - Oh hell, a woman who pulls the "remember when you said..." on her husband so often they refer to it as his most hated game, how very passive/aggressive of her.

EVERYONE, READ RUNAWAYS! It’s the best new series by Marvel in 20 years minimum. It’s so much better than the show. I like the show, but it’s a soap opera and not nearly as good as the source material. Like dude, Chase and his dad should not ever EVER be having moments. That said I do enjoy the show. Cool to see Grant Morrison back. Just did a reread of his Batman run. Damn it was incredible. Read runaways, and also Grant Morrison’s batman. Both are very easy to get a hold of.

Another key difference between marvel and WB/DC is that they let there actors produce there solo superhero movie.Fox Does it with three marvel properties. Marvel has one vision and that is Kevin Fiege.

Since the Fantastic Four and X-Men rights are not transferable, Disney/Marvel will get the rights back even if Comcast buys the FOX IPs. Disney's main goal is to get more content for their streaming service in 2019.
I hope the cartoon network does not end up doing a Doom Patrol cartoon in the same style as they redid the Teen Titans. If Doom Patrol appears on tv,i hope Grant Morrison's take is involved somehow.
