Ever wondered why India never released any videos on the deadly border incident? China recently released a video and it showed:
    - Indian troops fully armed with riot gear and hand held weapons
    - Indian troops swarming Ng across the river to begin the Attack
    - 2 PLA soldiers unarmed and unequipped with protective gear tried to persuade the Indians to stop
    - these 2 were the first to be attacked
So the Indians started the conflict but play victim

Very clearly, the 2 Indians are very much driven by emotion, impulsiveness and pre-conceived notions whereas Kishore talks facts, data and rationale. The white chap's agenda is obviously to antagonize and inflame the situation, to divide and conquer. Kishore is a Singaporean of Indian ancestry. He was Singapore's ambassador to the US n United Nation, President of the UN Security Council, Dean of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. He's one of Singapore's foremost strategic thinker trusted and respected by Lee Kuan Yew. He certainly knows what he's talking about. Being from Singapore, Kishore does not take sides when asked for his views on geopolitic matters. He speaks his mind n what he believes is true. Kishore has learnt much from Lee Kuan Yew who will tell you what he believes is true, not what you want to hear. Lee too posseses incredible political foresight and international leaders including every sitting US president had sought his views and opinion on world affairs especially on China. Kishore also enjoys a strong reputation for his knowledge n wisdom on international relations. The best universities, think-tanks, eminent academics n politicians have been seeking his counsel because they see the value and merits in his advice.

Mearsheimer conveniently left out the realities of the past. US did not win WW2, the Russian did by beating back Nazi Germany. The US did not win the Korean War, China did by beating back the UN forces led by the US. Who beat the Japanese? The Chinese did by beating back the Japanese and thereafter the US dropped two bombs into Japan and claimed victory. Japan was beaten by then but the US nevertheless dropped those bombs to scare the Russians. Mearsheimer is playing a mind game by encouraging India to fall into the US orbit when India is allemotionalabout the conflict with China. That would be a tragic mistake for India. Mahbubani is correct to suggest India should manitain its non-alignment principle and do what's best for India. As it is, India aligning with US had already aroused the suspicion of the Russians who have had friendly relations with India for many decades.
The US had always made use of the divide and rule tactic and dumped the country when their use is no more relevant to the US. To wit: US made use of Iran until the fall of the Shah. Likewise, US supported Iraq and Saddam Hussain and got it to fight Iran which ended in ruins for both. What happened then? US is off to do other damage to maintain its global hegemonic primacy. Does US ever won any war? In Afghanistan, after 20 years, it had to negotiate with the Taleban, so did US won? Likewise in Iraq, US have now been told by Iraq to get out. How about Vietnam? Well did US won or lost? The Quad is a joke, why bother to bring that up? India should draw lessons from history. The more immediate one is how US through Kissinger and Nixon secretly contacted China to established relation with them. The objective? To contain Soviet Union and put a wedge between China and Russia. Today, China has caught up and in US mentality, pose a peer threat. You are now watching how US fabricate lies and create conflicts to contain China. US did the same to Japan when Japan was in the ascendant. US could restrain Japan because they were Japan's master having dropped 2 atomic bombs on them but US cannot and will not be able to contain China. These are not speculations but historical facts like it or not.

Kishore was right that China was number 1 in the world for over 1800 years except since 200 years ago when the West started to get ahead because of colonialization and technology advancement. China to be number 1 in the world in terms of economy is just a matter of time. US will not happy to see a strong China and therefore will do her best to prevent China from becoming the number 1 power. India has always been friendly with US and the European powers due to her ambition to become a permanent member of the Security Council of the United Nations. However, if India does not eliminate her caste system, no country in the world will want to accept India as their leader.

Nothing would make the Americans / Trump's America first administration more happier than seeing India and China go to war over the border dispute. If the ruling class in both india and china can't cool their head and cool their own nationalism, and find a way to settle the border dispute, then it will be the most tragic thing ever happen to people in both countries. To those nationalists on both sides who keep pushing your government to go to war with the other, you need to stop being a keyboard warrior and join the army, then you're qalified to say anything like that. In modern warfare, one bomb can kill thousands and millions of people, all those who argue for war are just plain stuipid. If both indians and chinese insist the disputed border areas are "my territory and you can't be here", then the solution will never be found. There is a reason those are disputed because of historical reasons, people today need to be smart and find a middle ground and settle the dispute, and pave the way for both largest nations to co-exist peacefully for the next two thousand years.

Obviously, Some Speakers here haven't enough historical and international knowledges.pls try to know, the bias and injustice attitude to China Will result in not only hurting China but also hurting your india too.And you can see the westerners and Asian speakers have different view about Asian affairs. Why?Because Asian people love asia and westerners don't.
