Final Fight and 1944 are two of my favorite arcade games ever, I used to play 1944 all the time at wheels of wonder in Indianapolis, need to go back and see if they still have it lol
This cabinet is very underrated. I think it still probably has the best overall lineup of games to date. ( with the possible exception of the rare Golden Ax cab)
The only arcades I would have zero issue paying $300 for are al licensed ones. TMNT, X-Men, or NFL Blitz. Don’t know how Arcade1Up could pull any of that off though.
No light up marquee, no purchase from me. It's ridiculous that these cabinets don't have a light up marquee on the top, it's not even that hard or that much more expensive to include something as basic as that.
I like these little arcade cabs. I already bought the 12 in 1 and upgraded the spinner, the Street Fighter one with upgraded battop sticks, Rampage, and Pac-Man. I plan on getting both Final Fight and Mortal Kombat from this newest wave, than waiting to see if we see anything crazy in wave 3.

I really want to play Gauntlet on Arcade but I don’ want to buy a whole arcade system centered around only ONE GAME when I could buy Mortal Kombat and or Street Fighter ones
My walmart had these for $99 a week or two ago. I knew I was going to get a Legends Ultimate whenever they come back in stock so I didn’t get it, but it might be worth looking for if these particular games are ones you want and you don’t want the Legends (they had like 8 arcade1ups and 5 were this particular model).
Awesome videos keep up the good work Eric! I bought two arcade sticks and I have them hooked up to my PS3 and I recently bought "capcom arcade cabinet, sonics genensis collection and midway arcade origins. I can't believe it's already may 16th, it is only a month away until E3 2019!!
bought mines yesterday for $199 @ Walmart. Bought the LCD controller board on Amazon for 23.99 to mod it. Replacement LED buttons cost me $30 and HDMI switch cost $10 now I can drop a moded PS3 in it.
I work at Walmart. You'll be returning those soon. They're cheap as hell. I'm sick of doing the return slips for them. Get them for looks. I don't recommend actually playing them regularly.
Thanks for the review. I ordered the Asteroids one for $149, because I loved the game lineup on it, but watched your video for it and got nervous. I don't want to put pennies in the spinner or drop another $50 to upgrade it. After watching this video, I cancelled Asteroids and got this one instead (it was the same price). Seems like way more bang for the buck.
@@8-BitEric It's funny, my wife was trying to surprise me for Christmas and actually ordered the Galaga version. The order confirmation though went to my email address. I confessed that to her and that's when I said the Asteroids one would be better, so we cancelled the order and replaced it with that. Like I mentioned though, I watched your vids and ended up ordering this one (it was the last one in stock too). We picked it up today, but I have to just look at the box until Christmas when I can actually open it and set it up. It's gonna be a tough 3 weeks...lol

Love my MK2 A1U and just picked this cab up as well. I wish people would stop knocking them. For what they are(easy to move casual cabinets) they are awesome. If I wanted to build a mame cab, id mess up the design, and have more money in wood and monitor. These look great and play good enough for a casual gamer like myself. Congrats on the purchase. Wish I coulda found it for 199.00

Why not? It’s well worth every penny. Look, just because Eric got it for $100 cheaper doesn’t mean that it’s not worth it’s normal asking retail price. Besides, the original 500lb arcade machine is going for $1,500 to 2,000 and that’s just for the Final Fight game by itself! So, go figure.

Cute. But if you are passionate,it's not so complicated to make a arcade cabinet,even a repro MK with lcd or pc monitor vga dvi and 2.1 sound,the price is probably really close to this one. Also,you can have a raspberry or hyperspin..a console inside. Nice stuff but probably too tiny to play with friends in great conditions,it's more a single arcade and decoration geek.
No. Don’t be fooled by the haters, believe me, this is well worth the $$$$, even if you have to pay the retail price of $299.99 I wasn’t going to get the Final Fight Cabinet at first, but then I thought about it and then said...why not?? So I picked mines up today(July 4th, 2019) and let me tell you, boy I’m soo glad that I did! This Cabinet is just simply loads of fun and amazing!! Just like the guy says in this video, you have a really nice variety of great arcade mix up gaming here. Me and my son beat Final Fight within the 1st hour right after building it! And my other two kids beat 1944 on two player co-op mode. I mean, we’re just having a blast over here😀👍🏽‼️

I just tried the Final Fight on display and didn't like it. Final fight itself was fine, but didn't like the way Ghost and Goblins plays. You have to be on the left side and its awkward. Anyway, a pass for me. At 100$ Id get it, but its 475$ here in Canada.
Hey Eric u should get Strider on the 360 but its either 2 or its a new new Strider. Its crazy good. My mate sent me a USB full of the great 360 shmups with all the CAVE games and I played this Strider game he put on it too and I was blown away by it. Never ever seen it before but its similar to the one u have here but your inside this place and the music I dunno, very impressive. Anyway, u may not have a 360 lol but hey watch it on YT then lol PEACE BUDDY
(Before you read this you should take into consideration that I do not have this cabinet, the only one I have is the sf2 cabinet)Alright lets be honest here, this machine is really cool. Its got the looks it has 4 great games, it even has some multiplayer games too which are really cool. This cabinet is definitely on the top 3 of cabinets from Arcade 1 up. The only problem with this machine is that the games well they will probably get really boring after a while. Once you beat lets say final fight, you have done the whole story. Yes you can replay it but its not like you can replay it 15 times and not say you have gotten a bit bored with it. There is only so much you can do with it before it loses its feelings. The same goes with strider, loop master, and ghost n goblins. (of course it will probably take you forever to beat gng) The thing with the street fighter and mortal kombat cabinets is that every round is going to be different than the last.

Well technically you did spend too much money cause you can purchase the games on Capcom Classic Collection 1+2 brand new for around $25 on the original xbox or ps2. You could always build your own arcade cab but I understand alot don't know how so it's cheaper buying the arcade1up cabinets.

I love the MK and FF cabinets too but because they're so damn hard to beat, I'm definitely waiting for the price drop later in the fall

This is the only one I really wanted besides the turtle one and the street fighter one. Luckily I got it for $50 in the spring.

Great review! I have an original Ghosts n Goblins PCB and never completed it. Hard as nails. These all seem to play very smoothly -- and hassle free.
We're still waiting for this cabinet to be brought over to the UK! :'(
