- The Mixtape concert at the Micheloeb Ultra Theater in Las Vegas, NV end with a surprise finale - Rick Astley repeating a song he sang earlier in the evening at the request of a fan in the audience. Not that I'm complaining. I love "Never Gonna Give You Up" and it was fun to see NKOTB, En Vogue and Salt n' Pepa singing along with him. The concert was a party and everyone was there just to have a good time. Rick Astley is an amazing talent that somehow disappeared from the American charts after several large hits that went international. His voice is incredible and sounds as good as his songs on vinyl. It's crazy to see how a talent like his gets thrown to the wayside. In fact, it's amazing that the acts on this tour has stopped scoring hits on the American charts at all. They certainly have the vocal and entertainment talent. Don't worry, Rick Astley. I'm never gonna give you up....

It wasn't "at the request of a fan"... they close every show on this tour with this song with everyone on stage.
He sang it earlier in the show by himself. At the end of the show, one of the New Kids, I forget which one, said that it was a request by a couple who was celebrating their anniversary. I thought it was strange that he would sing it twice. I have his solo version also but I can't post it until July when I return from my vacation.
