Anthem of the Peaceful Army is Greta Van Fleet’s debut album. The title, Anthem of the Peaceful Army was originally a poem written by Josh Kiszka. Later, when they had started recording their debut album, he realized that the poem embodied the meaning and purpose of the album. In a press release, the band has detailed a list of themes that the album explores, with everything from fresh starts and adventure to courage, myth, and truth being covered.
