@@emib6599 Unless it was something else, this Sims 2 remake prevents you from interacting with the Grim Reaper, which defeats the entire purpose of her creating that character (she wanted to marry Ca... the Grim Reaper and spent two hours trying to create the situation that would allow it). Then, after trying to force that interaction it corrupted her save. So...
This tbh. I was surprised when it was privated cuz I was looking forward to watch the VOD. And now that I'm able to watch it, the whole stream has been lovely and fun.

Despite nothing going to plan and it was just one bad thing after another on a scuffed port of one of your favourite games, you still kept the stream fun and positive with your infectious uplifting attitude and charm. Ms. Nightmare your patience and grit are nothing short of inspirational and I truly admire that about you as I wish to incorporate some of this in my own life.
Thank you for uploading the VOD, not only was it entertaining but it also served as a lesson to me to not sweat stuff so much no matter how bad it gets cause positive attitude makes all the difference.

THANK YOU for playing this it's a MEGA nostalgic game, have played it for 20 years and I thought I'd never get to see a vtuber stream it let alone my favorite! bless this re-release! I have TS2 running on my old Windows 10 PC but it's impossible to play the sims 1 on modern systems so I definitely might buy that! I actually bought and restored a windows XP laptop just to play TS1 on discs, but its battery only last an hour so it's not great for sims playing.
Olive Specter who's in Strangetown has also already had a son with the grim reaper, Nervous Subject, who is also playable and was the one Armando is bullying. I don't think you can normally seduce the grim reaper without cheats or mods though, he's a special NPC who can corrupt your game if you try to interact with him beyond the normal ways in the game. EASIEST thing is just make a sim with the Grim reaper outfit you can unlock with cheats in the sim creator.
Rod Humble is actually based on a real life developer and interacting with him can also corrupt your game so, glad he got away from your grasp lol.

The Hippocratic Oath is thrown out the window as Nimi sets up the most tragic romance between a Sim and Grim even if it means breaking the boundaries of Sims 2. Sadly, it was all for naught, but hopefully the next romance story will go better, one that will have vampires, grims and spaghetti.

Spending all the money on the gothic architecture to have nothing left for basic interior appliances, I like that, that's the spirit, live on the floor but in a castle.

The Sims 2 was one of the reasons I started writing stories: I was initially imagining a type of family to create in a desert, and when I noticed that you could create more realistic characters than the first title when trying the game, I created characters I thought of for stories and inserted them all in a desert location. Then I would write stories on the way they interacted with each others, what they would do, and so on. It's a very dear game to me, and it's fun to come back to it seeing you create a beautiful gothic family bringing curse and novelty in the neighborhood thank you for the nice stream
The best entertainment is stuff that doesn't go according to plan. You claim it's cursed, I claim it's comedic gold. 10/10, would Nimi again.

Honestly, the pure jubilation Nimi had about this game in the beginning was so heartwarming
This girl adopted a pet gold fish, adopted a pet friend, got the pet friend to summon the grim reaper, and then after losing everything just dipped out to the club to hook up with a vampire. The grim reaper doesn't know what he's missing

Sims 2 was my first proper Sims game. I'd played the PS2 port of 1 and The Urbz beforehand, but Sims 2 was the first one and only one i put any major time into.
It might not have worked out how you wanted but it was still loads of fun. Looking forward to more Sims shenanigans in the future.
