oh wow its the big planes 2-3-2 never thought it was that good to see what they could do is remodel the inside not sure if its worth it due to the age of the planes but very nice video thank you.
Why do you think that Delta still flies the 757 and the 767 and even updated the cabins not that long ago? Were it not for COVID they wouldn't even be thinking about retiring them now. Its worth remodeling the old planes if you own the aircraft and plan to keep using it for a while.
Jamaica Airline goes over Jamaica Bay in Queens , l learned how to fish ,go crabbing ,and also learn how to water ski in that body of water , this was back in 80s and 90s when it was disgusting ,much nicer today then 30yrs ago
Fly Jamaica started off with great potential but decided to bite off more than they can chew...and karma played its card. Very sad demise but if you don't understand airline biz, you won't be able to play your cards right.
it is real sad that as they started out they havning all these issues....crash and endless delays. I wont be flying with them ontil maybe after their fleet grows . I personaly hates delays it irrites me .
@@spotter3sixty I understand the company still only owns one plane if that is the case the airline should only stick to one route and work on its performance
Is Fly Jamaica expanding its destinations to Trinidad and the United States? Anyone knows. More airlines of this region should get a piece of that pie.
Actually Fly Jam was flying to Jamaica and New York for a long time , up until they lost one of their only two aircraft in a crash landing in Guyana in early Nov of 2018.
Caribbean-based airlines don't seem to understand how to operate efficiently and grow at the same time. The market into and out of the region is a pretty sizeable one but only foreign airlines seem to know how to cut up that pie.
@@shantelmcreavy527 I still don't understand how that crash killed the airline. They were carrying insurance that covered the cost of damage or loss to the aircraft. They were operating old aircraft that are (relatively) cheap. They could have gotten another 757.
There was no inflight entertainment and a very light snack. The TV screens you see were just that - TV screens. I had my tablet. The snack was a bag of banana chips and a cup of soda or something.
Actually SPOTTER360 as of 2020 Fly Jamaica has filed for bankruptcy and is no longer flying but I do hear that if Coronavirus eases and we can travel they just might launch Air Demerara
The onboard experience was nothing grand...no IFE..just a snack service like most carriers on this type of routes. However, it was nice to see our Caribbean people at the helm of an airline. Hearing the Jamaican and other Caribbean sounds on the flight was refreshing.
Whoever posted this video should be I jail. There is a reason why the Captain gives the order to turn off ALL electronic devices. These people who have no respect for flight safety should never fly again. If anyone of my fellow airbus Captains knew someone was filming upon take off or landing this person would be held at security upon arrival.
Fly Jamaica still us two tickets because our flight was canceled because their JUNK aircraft crashed landed in Guyana. Never got our money back. Terrible business venture to all investors involveded in this company. Two unfit aircraft trying too be on schedule ... what a joke!!!!!
Always love to fly air Jamaica 🇯🇲 it's a good feeling to know we had our own aircraft
Can't wait to fly again, wonderful service.
i love videos like these
Awesome video! Thank you very much for sharing your experience with this small and exotic airline! =D
It's a pleasure and thank you for appreciating it.
How about cruising and landing
@@ojaaviation - Mistakenly deleted before making a backup.
Loved this video. Thank you. It would have been nice if you could have covered the approach and landing in Kingston 😊

Thanks! You're right, it might not be worth remodeling, especially if in-flight service and comfort is not your first priority.

What’s happening to fly Jamaica 🇯🇲
The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result!

Where's the landing?
Unfortunately, it got deleted accidentally
Cool video blog post and have more new video blog post on TH-cam

Very sad indeed. Trying to bite off more than they can chew was a bad idea. I wonder if they'll ever recover from this mess they are in.

I am a true Jamaican
Just wondering if the cabin on Fly Jamaica smells like jerk chicken and weed? Or if the inflight food consists of these?
None of the above! You'll have to satisfy with a little bag of banana chips, cassava chips, or something similar.
Do u have landing cideos
Just enjoy it since you assume so
The answer is yes to both of your questions is yes you want to know what it sounds like the Caribbean day parade in Brooklyn

No meal service?
No, but they offered a snack.
It’s three hours from jfk to fll
Thats an awful lot pf turbulence though!! They must have had a rough flight!!!
Thankfully, the turbulence lasted for only a short time.
record the take off, a few seconds of level flight and record the landing. thats how you do it. then post the video
Lotto super
Thanks!

How long is the flight from jfk to kin
Around 3 hours, if I remember well.
