VAMPIRE SAVIOR: LORD OF VAMPIRE is a fighting game, originally released by CAPCOM in the year 1997 for Arcades, and also later released for Playstation, Sega Saturn and included in compilations of Playstation 2 (Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection and Hyper Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition), Playstation 3 (Darkstalkers Resurrection / Vampire Ressurrection), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One (Capcom Fighting Collection).
The last compilation features online play with rollback netcode, training and spectator modes, save states, concept art, design documents, and a music player.

Truly one of the best vampire fighting characters ever. I still wish there were more details to his background story (how he became a vampire, how long he's had those vampire girlfriends, when he's getting married to Morrigan finally 😅😂).
What other characters are also vampires (in fighting games)? I can't remember now
@@fightinggamemovelists Slayer from guilty Gear, which i think Is inspired by Dimitri they are pretty similar in some aspects (both in gameplay and in their lore)

Glad it was useful! I can't tell you if exactly he would be Ryu's counterpart, but he is considered a Shoto character, just like Morrigan.
