I have a video of when I caught a 42 inch snook last year ( th-cam.com/video/2V8iIoHONN0/w-d-xo.html ) from a bridge and also I uploaded a video yesterday of a big snook I caught; both of those monster snook where caught using the same knot. It's very strong when using heavy braid to mono leader. The downfall to the knot is it doesn't fit through the eyes of a fishing rod very well. Actually, I think all of the snook in my entire playlist of snook videos were caught using that knot. I have confidence in it. I understand your concerns, thanks for being a subscriber.
Rad Reeling Fishing Confidence is important, for sure. I understand not wanting to take the time to tie a uni to uni(aka double uni). Another option that will more easily go through the guides and is equally as fast as your knot is this triple surgeons knot. It tests at near 100%. I use it when quickly making tapered fly leaders. Thanks, I fished this morning and after noon and missed strikes and lost more hooked fish than I caught. Today was a very frustrating day. I did find a great new spot though. Can't wait for in the morning. I need to get another good video up. Fishing is fun, but can be a lot of work too. I love making the videos. Thanks for the complement.
Well at least you found a new spot that's always a good thing, did some fishing today as well caught a lot of whiting,catfish and 1 spotted trout, was hoping to caught drum or snook though
ok, i just subbed. I just got done watching you video where you caught a keeper snook on opening snook season night with a jig! If a hook a slot its always too big too small or if its slot its not season so congrats on that!
