Music does keep you young!! I love this little thing. I especially like how they have recommended settings to maximize the variety of sounds that you can obtain. Nice! I love the camera work in the intro too! Very nice. The lighting is really good and this video is great as always!! Keep rocking!!

You have a sharp eye John. I used 3 point lighting for the video which I normally don't do. I had the space for this one so I set up the 3 lights.

About time a sensible vid clip. I hate to be a spoiler here but if I can get some feedback I will delete this comment.
    Let me set this up:
Small, feather weight amp. What I would say is "normal" is to place the amp on a tabletop or something; place it high so as the hear it better.
But... using a regular amp cord, the cord itself is heavy enough to tip the amp over and it goes crashing to the floor.
I've had the amp as low as 18 inches from the floor and it comes crashing down.
And my problem is that even with a fall from as low as 18 inches, the amp is ruined. Unless by some mythical degree, it doesn't ruin whatever circuitry that's in there.
I've had one brand new, never been played, was about to but one second of inattention and crash, bang, and no more boom. Have it a month: drop, bang, no boom. Etc.
There is also where it will play but it'll have a metallic oscillating sound which is intolerable; done, kaput.
Of course, there are insurance plans where you get a replacement with no problem; except now you have no amp to play with. I make money with my mini amp.
Is there any solution: replacement parts? I need a way to keep this thing ticking after it just took a licking. Is there a solution other than to wrap it in bubble wrap the size of the Queen Mary?

2 years old but it has a belt clip, use that and some zip ties or a little bungy cord to secure it to something, or just clip it to your guitar strap.

It has a 50s design, and it’s a mobile way to play guitar and it fits me

Keep the overdrive turned way down, the volume at about the 12 o'clock position, and start with the tone at about 11 o'clock.

How does it sound on headphones? It sounds a little "farty" with high OD settings in the video but still, for quiet practicing and that price, hard to say no!

About the same. I like it better on the clean side.

My sound cuts off when i play chords...any advice?

    • @stevekonbass
      @stevekonbass  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Never had that happen. Try changing the battery, lowering the volume, or lowering the overdrive.

The battery probably can’t deliver higher current when it’s required. Some batteries are better than others on this front, I’d try a different brand.

I’m gonna be honest, this thing sounds absolutely awful on dirty sounds. Clean, it does alright, and it’s $25. Useful enough for quick practice on the go.
