Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School offers families an African American immersion program that focuses on the history and culture of African Americans, drawing upon the strengths of pupils. Parental and community involvement are essential parts of the curriculum. The school put the comprehensive literacy plan and comprehensive math/science plan to work so that students are prepared for college and career success.
