Hi mate, I have not been a spring guy for many years now, not only does spring rifle shooting make hunting more of a challenge (this is a pest control task as well as hunting so easier the better) it also makes filming a lot more difficult and almost impossible to get a good scope cam footage.

No - I would like to understand the logic you are applying to which parts of the licence that makes shooting these wood pigeons in the circumstances shown in your video lawful please.

With a rifle, whether loaded or not, or even carried in a bag, it would be a criminal act called Armed Trespass. Without a weapon, it's still called trespassing. That's why not. Contrary to law practice under pretense of 'why would anyone care' fuels the fire & plays into the hands of anti-hunting groups that is killing hunting & conservation. Do you have the same attitude to exceeding the speed limit?
@@AirHunter what has driving a car got to do with picking up a pigeon .why shoot something you can’t pick up where I live no land owner would worry .i was talking to Andy not you .as for the anti blood sport what do all these vids do .showing what shooting people do killing things .
@@philchapman9484 No offence intended, I wasn't trying to pick an argument with you or anyone else, so please don't take it that way..... It's just a law analogy to illustrate a principle. Unfortunately, alongside many tolerant people there are many who are not, who will use anything to make it difficult to pursue things that they don't agree with..... e.g. demonising shooting. To read comments and views of anyone in shooting forums supporting being in favour of breaking rules, however apparently trivial, just plays into the hands of 'the antis'. As a shooter myself, I've had to adjust my shooting to cope with the huge restrictions introduced since the fiasco in 2019 triggered by the Wild Justice court challenge that caused such chaos and damage to farming and livelihoods..... that is the point I was making as I don't want to see any more restrictions placed on us. I hope that makes better sense now.

I think feeders are more for the older shooter, I remember when I went fishing with my old man, when I was just a boy, I hadn't patience at all.
