懐かしい。アルバム「２×４」で、リー・リトナーと共演しているCDを引っ張り出して聴きなおしました。アルバム「MINT JAMS」のドミノラインとこの曲をコピーしていた当時を思い出しました。その後に櫻井哲夫氏が５弦になったのはショックだしたね。私は今でも５弦より４弦が好きです。４弦でもビクター・ウッデンみたたいな演奏できますしね。その後カシオペアが分裂して成瀬氏がベースで入りましたが、やはり櫻井氏の方が好きです。

櫻井さんの当時の5弦はピッコロ域が出るHi-Cでしたね。
恐らくソロメロディ弾いたりすることが多くなったための5弦だったのでしょう～
その後、HalleなんかではLow-Dとかも弾くことが多くなり、結局はその後は6弦に落ち着き今に至り～、でしょうね😅笑
自分のこのベースがLow-Bの5弦ですので4弦でも全然間に合ってますけど！
自分も櫻井さん時代の方がなんとなく合ってます😄

It was too troublesome to retake the photo, so I left it as is.
