Health, Ragna's drive attack, soul-eater, allows him to absorb your health when he hits you with it, even if you block it. During his power up state, Blood-Kain, he gains even more of your health per-hit with soul-eater (though his health is constantly drained to balance it off). The Bigger orbs signify that he's gaining a lot of health with those particular hits.
@Kelohmello Well yeah the only thing that's changed is, Dead spike no longer takes a primer (I think 2D does now), and now instead of deadspike being the move for a re-launch it's now 6B. Then something about his 5D, and Blood kain not getting you as much heat? Something like that.

Just started like a month ago, I've got all them down except for #10. The ender and everything is easy-peasy but I can't seem to get the TK timing down after the 214B 214D Gauntlet. Any tips for it or is it just a grindfest to try find the money timing?
@TBMF101 I'm pretty sure he's had all these combos since CS2. Not much looks changed at least to me. So I'm pretty sure I can do them yes, but I'm also confident there are people that haven't even touched the game yet that can do them.
@EvelioEinWindir Well although there is technically more than ten now, in the old challenge modes you had about 2 combos per mission give or take a few. With 10 missions that gives us a total of 20 missions in the old ones. More like 17 or so since not all had two combos but what this means is actually less combos or about the same at best. And the fact that there are rapids being used in a handful makes them a little more situational then ones before.
@AlvShiokawa Allright thx. ^^ Yeah man that's right, some challenges really aren't practical but what's the matter? In games like SSF4 there are 90% of the challenges bullshit. I'm glad to see that BlazBlue has way more practical challenges. ( I hope you understand everything what I try to say, because my english isn't the best )

I don't know if this is exactly gonna help, but I noticed that if we slightly delay the 5D( two hits) before doing hells fang, we seem to be able to connect hells fang and its follow up faster, which is necessary for ragna to connect the second hell's fang an its follow up, FAST, as well...

Stuck on 15 can do the entire combo minus the last hit. Doesn't matter how much I delay or rush the last hit it never connects. That or the meter runs out before i can input the distortion any tips?
@AlvShiokawa I would tell you if I knew to do it by myself. MY problem is that "Devoured By Darkness" never hit. I still have a little bit time to do it at the end of Blood Kain but it won't hit.

@BrianMX34 Ha ha, I agree with you, considering that there is the player 2 side, it would be like learning a totally different combo, and getting used to it... This reminds me how I had problems learning a combo with Zero , in umvc3, on p1 side of screen... Same thing with his Lighting Loop, only managed to do it on p1 side of screen... Now to do them at p2 side of screen... Lol

@DXDarkAssassinXx Hey man, I was practicing this mission 15 again, but argh unfortunately that thing I said of dealying the 5D a bit doen't seem to be the reason why Hells FAng and follow up can't connect fast... I see in the demo mode that Ragna hit the 5D really fast... It could be that As soon as the second hit of 5D hits he does Hells fang and follow up really fast, which became really annoying. This is it, I will look for another combo, this one is irritating due to 5D -> hells fang :(.
Why is it that I just plain love watching Blood Kain combos? Most likely because they scream, "Oh hey, you know how you were losing until this point? Welp, he doesn't have a burst available, and you have 50 heat, sooo..."
So..the one thing im not getting out of all of this is the Dash after Straight Punch in ID. Do you have to back step first then dash and do the 3c>Hells Fang>Tsuika?
tried that. it meant i hit with a regular jump, but it wont register a high. i have to delay the jump to go high, which means he aerial rolls. i tried the stick on the vita but its not very precise.
This is Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend, not Blazblue Continuum Shift. In this game, they changed it so that each mission has only one combo.

Hey man, awesome video. I did all missions (Screw you missions 12 and 13 with that 66 3C D:< ) except mission 15... By the time I somehow manage to get to the Yami Ni Kuwarero / Devoured By Darkness part the blood kain meter is almsot empty, leaving me NO time to do it... When i compare it with the game's demonstration video, when he reaches that part, he still have a few ammounts of blood kain avaiable :( ... any tips on how can i fix this?
@MashThat5A Are you already working on one because i sure as well am. Try 2c FC, DS, 5b 5c 6c dash 6d J jc belial 6b BK 5c 5d1 DS (5c) 5d DID GH, 5d, 5d DBD, not sure on heat gain but it sounds like a damager, but that early belial screws with the damage out put so im trying to optimize. LETS WORK TOGETHER
1) I finished all of his challenges before I recorded this. I just didn't feel like doing it again. 2) I did this for every character. If you finished challenge for for everyone then by all means you upload these. 3) Look at the date this was uploads. Extend came out in the US on Feb 14th. Think about why this was uploaded. (Hint: It wasn't about 'skill')

Hey man, no problem, glad to hear you completed this mission. About that question, the Tsuika thing, is that follow up of Hell's Fang if i am not wrong, I don't recall the english name of the follow up attack so I just use "Tsuika" as I think people on dustloop call it... Speaking of dustloop, I have hopes they will invent a more practical and damaging combo than mission 15 xD, that 8000 or something of damage + 100 hits is awesome but I wish for something easier and stronger if possible.

How do you do the combos so easily? I can never time it right and press the right button. I sometimes just end up mashing witch I hate doing. I got the game about 2 months or so ago. I don't egret it one bit but it's hard to get decent in x-x.. Have any tips besides the natural practice?
I'll never get used to 6B used mid-combo lol. Whose idea was to put an overhead in a combo?! :P

I know that this is gonna sound like I'm a complete noob, which I'm not because I've definitely played Ragna for almost a month now, but I just started playing the challenges and in challenge 1 it's telling me to do Not Over Yet. I cannot for the life of me get Bang on the ground long enough to do the damn move and it's irritating the life outta me. Some help would be appreciated.
@IraqiDude321 This game comes with a nice tutorial for game mechanics, and a tutorial for individual characters. While you can learn combos from the pros and the game itself, the combo system is actually somewhat flexible. If you manage to make the characters movement natural to you, you can more or less improvise combos to a certain extend or optimise ones you see. Once you get skilled with the game, its really rewarding and fun, with unique characters, too
I see... Well somehow it didn't work for me when I tried oding ti again with Arcade Stick, anyas. I found a combo of 8013 damage in a video here of youtube,hehe it is not 150% heat like this one (Is 100%) but seems much easier and practical to do (Oh the evil 5D hells fang) :D.
maybe this vid was taken a long time before this but when tis was recorded it wasn't you (at least that's what i think), because it says "sample play" all the time
Here's why you sound stupid I'm afraid I don't really care what top chemists say. I simply analyzed oxygen and though, "Oxygen seems kind of dangerous because it causes fire." Then, when I saw all of those news reports about fire and the damage it caused, it reinforced my views. There really is no reason for me to think that Oxygen isn't the most dangerous chemical right now.
Never mind delaying Keri Age follow up until Rags is closer to the ground worked a charm.

@Fistmaster049 6A has more hit stun, so sometimes you need to use it due to proration. However, these combos are just not optimized.

stuck on combo 10, really hard on a ps vita... lol. any tips, cant get high jump --> aerial C working. bang just does aerial roll straight away.

Challenge 15 is one of those combos that you get hit by and you just set the controller down afterwards and say..."Fuck it." lol

I don't know about that, I just did it like you said and I immediately got it. That's all I know. I think it IS right just like you explained to me.

After doing 623D, do 236C during the first hit. It takes time to get used to.

Try breaking down the combos into smaller parts. For example, j.C j.D j.C j.D Berial Edge is a part. Combine parts after you get smaller parts down.
