The framework for possibly one of the best metal gear game was laid here, the potential was huge compared to the game we got. MGSV wasn’t done true justice.

Yeah, that was tense, lol. The poor AI guards didn't stand a chance. It always warms my heart when they're able to actually put the heat on the intruder, haha
@@molassesman4066 the game is decent if you can ignore its part of the metal gear franchise. It would be better if they added the ability to explore and play the campaign with other players tho. The Fox engine goes great with the tower defense style gameplay in the coop and survival aspects in solo. Had it been it's own thing im sure it would have gained more players and interest in the gameplay aspects of it.
Absolutely, a game completely based around this style of content and sending soldiers on missions would be amazing - especially if had lots of different areas for bases or working missions like contracted defense etc. Not sure 'PMC Manager 2022' would do well in the news cycle though.

Having played both mgo3 and fob myself, it can be. There's a lot of ways to cheese the game, but it *does* have a little bit to skill to it regarding movement, staying quiet and the like. Also keep in mind, the game is 7 years old. The majority of people still playing are people who have thousands of hours in the game, it's gonna look frustrating due the huge skill gap.
MGO3 isn’t as bad for pvp. The only thing you really have to look out for are the players who use Demolition+ and Tactics+. Those guys are the worst lol

Yeah was wondering this too, but I think there is a way to differentiate? From far away though, I’m sure he couldn’t tell that he was dressed as a guard and knew he was a player by how he moved, etc
When the defending player arrives the attacker is informed and the pvp match mode begins after a fade to black, setting the attacker back to the beginning of whatever the last platform they made it to was.
the one thing that sucks about this mode is the cheaters you're forced to use non-lethal because most trainers or hacks don't prevent knock outs this really the only way to win and most people aim bot or use esp.

FOBs hunting in multiplayer (that is what this video is about) doesn't represent at all what the "true" game is in singleplayer. Ofc you could play like that in solo but tbh i dont think anyone does it lol. FOBs hunting is not much appreciated and mostly only happens if you are in the top score (called ESP rank or PR rank, you can see it at 00:10 in the top right corner). In my personnal experience, i was attacked may be 20 times, but it was years ago when the game was a bit more popular. Today, i don't think a lot of ppl are going through this shit anymore. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the game boss ;)

In the army tactics they are forced into combat positions that means defend or die trying, stepping out to help snake would mean being out of positions risking everyone’s lives. The base depends on the big boss for the offensive counterfire.
Man is MGO and all this even alive still? I remember my FOB was fully maxed out, I’m talking fully armored guards with NVG/Thermals and heavy weaponry with drones and claymores everywhere. If you didn’t have max armor you were dead within 3 rounds as all guards had 6 star weaponry. I don’t think anyone actually took down my FOB.

That first guy was very Sus. Basically every shot you took at him SHOULD have hit, and one time he sniped you just as you emerged from cover, with no possible idea you were there.
With this game you can be good by just being a casual player with a skilled casual playset, but when it comes down to defending fobs or playing the online people just become a try hard and it can really drive someone up the walls. I hate that in online somethings you can't survive even though you can survive then in the main story, that's not how online should be played. Like in the main game you can survive 1 grenade to the face but in online the grenade one shots you even if you are 5 feet away from it.
Most likely the grenades from the campaign are from standard infantry men. While Online player has the upgraded ones that deal double damage. Just how it goes.
As far as I know, only online services on the Ps3 and Xbox 360 were terminated. Otherwise MGO and FOBs are still going strong on the Ps4, Xbox One, and PC... For now
There are literally thousands of people playing the game all the time even at like 2:00 in the morning so it is still quite active I don't know why people keep acting as if games are dead if they don't have a million players.

But sometimes depending on your distance from the enemy, you can't fulton them by hand as its too slow and they're most likely to wake up before you finish the fulton. And using non Lethal security gear makes that even worse as you have no other options in terms of killing them. That being said most of the time im just a poor judge when it comes to when to fulton and when to hold back. And yes you can respawn when defending. You can respawn as Snake, Quiet, Ocelot or any staff member. Though any staff member not under direct contract can permanently die, and they will vanish from your staff list.

FOB raids really aren't a problem. I played when the game was in its first year, and if you play like it's a single player game, none of that will matter. You'll be capturing staff and firing your lowest-ranking people on every mission, so if you lose some staff, that's just fewer firings. You'll have shipping containers full of raw mineral resources that take a long time to refine (and you can't use them raw), so if you somehow run out of GMP, you can just sell those. The game is designed so it feels like there are high stakes, but really it's fine.
None of the high level players give a shit about your base. They play amongst themselves. For everyobe else: in 2 years i've had 2 FOB attacks. It's nothing.
Probably to extend game play. To give them a good run through. Always a wait in between challengers. I've played the bro obsidian before, he let me get up so that we could have a good game.

If you didn't notice lag, great, but it was definitely there (all games have it unless your ping is lower than your frame time), the question is just to what degree. If you watch YT videos of it you can tell, you can see people run past each other and then teleport back to get CQCed, or shots hit that look like they should have missed, stuff like that. It's inevitable in network multiplayer.
Sadly, it's only avaliable when you go to defend your FOB. It's fun as hell though. Defending your FOB alongside your security is one of the coolest things to do in this game.

7:00 I hate people who play like this. This kill, and everything leading up to it. Just full-on maximum force, same tactics every single time, and that's almost all I get to play against. It's either somebody who runs away if I hit them with a tranq once, or I beam in to a full-on base wide murder spree with somebody with 200 rnds of assault rifle ammo in a sniper rifle. And most of the time they'll shoot you in the head (lethal) while wormhole fultoning you just to rub it in. Absolutely ruins the fun for me.

theoretically impossible, because some of the nukes are on fob's that are basically 'off limits' because the player tied to them is banned

Nonlethal also sets off a lot less base alerts making the intruder much harder to track, intercept, and retaliate against their FOB later.

7:00 I hate people who play like this. This kill, and everything leading up to it. Just full-on maximum force, same tactics every single time, and that's almost all I get to play against.
It's either somebody who runs away if I hit them with a tranq once, or I beam in to a full-on base wide murder spree with somebody with 200 rnds of assault rifle ammo in a sniper rifle. And most of the time they'll shoot you in the head (lethal) while wormhole fultoning you just to rub it in. Absolutely ruins the fun for me.
