- Back to the Off grid cabin to spend Christmas . When we get there we realize Santa Claus has already been there and left gifts ...I also have an Arts and Crafts day making some gifts for someone. We even decorate an outside tree with lights and ornaments !!! Come check it out !!!

Geez Dave it's looking pretty green there too. Seems to be a lack of snow right across Canada. Don't tell the Grinch...er🤔...Mr Dress-up...umm🤔...the crime minister...ooh🤔...the exalted ruler😉, or he'll be taking the coal out of the stocking and putting in a heat pump. Lol.
The tree's lookin' pretty sharp all decked out. A little snow would have helped it to reflect a bit more, but it still looks good.
The reindeer were a nice touch. Hopefully whatever fell off the wall when you were affixing the flag wasn't some irreplaceable family heirloom. Lol. Just remember when the cops show up, admit to nothing, and deny everything. Ignore the video evidence. Haha.
What is it with ham and scalloped potatoes? That's what the wife and I had for Christmas dinner too, and we cooked it on the woodstove as well. We had ours with a Cesar salad, but the cranberry salad sounds good too. Tonight it's pea soup made with the left over ham. The peas have been soaking since yesterday. Don't know about you Dave, but I love pea soup with ham. Without the ham, it's just green wallpaper paste.
Nice toques you guys. But Dave I think you need to do the Tim Horton's thing, and roll up the rim.
Well it looks like it's going to be another balmy day. It's already +2°C at 8 a.m., and it supposed to get to +6°C this afternoon. When the snow slides off of the roof of an unheated building, it's warm.
Dave, Cindy, I hope Christmas was good to you, and that New Years brings the both of you good fortune and blessings in the up coming year.

Its been a green winter so far ..just a bit of snow but Im sure were not out of the woods yet so to speak ...Ive never been big on Turkey for dinner so ham it was lol pea soup sounds great also ,,I may have to get Cindy to make some ...Seasons greetings to you and yours Andy
