That skidoo would look great with my skidoo 2006 and our Polaris 2006. But that would show up our sleds in our garage and would make our friends jelous lol
Hi, for use mostly on-trail, how would you rate the 2017 (or newer) Assault? I'm thinking of buying one. I'm a big heavy guy and 121's and 129's bottom out easily when I ride so I'm looking for a strong rear suspension. How would this compare with a 137 Pro-S or XC for a big guy like me?
Evan Caron pretty decent. I've gotten around 2 hours outta mine. I find I get like and hour and then it seems like it's gonna die and then if I warm it up go inside or put it in a inner pocket and then use it again I get another hour out of it
You should get about 7000 miles out of a sled that is mostly trail ridden. 3000 miles is nothing, that ski-doo has a ton of life left if taken care of. Like what you're going for with this channel. Keep it up.
18jivan yeah I agree, just all the horror stories with the 800r engine had me a little scared. Plus any excuse to get a new sled right Haha. Thanks I appreciate it!
Gordon S thanks! no I haven't found it to be an issue. i havent really gotten to play with it in the pow yet but on trail i havent noticed it at all. if anything its nice because it gives you something to lock between your legs and help keep you on the sled through rougher trails
Bret Lysne09 yeah this was opening weekend of the trails in old forge new York. trails were decent Friday but pretty chewed up by Saturday. we got another 8-12" following this week and I'm my next video you can see the coverage is much better.
The RC Expeditions I want to get into off trail riding but haven't gotten the chance yet really because In New York there's not a ton of places to go. we have one area that gets big snow but it normally settles within a day so you have to catch it the day of the snow fall. I wanted at least a 137 to bridge the bumps a bit better than a short track sled and there was basically zero weight penalty going from a 137 switchback rush to a 144 assault. I heard the IGX rear suspension was supposed to be great so I figured why not try something new and go assault. in the end I ended up with a sled that shreds the trails and has more off trail capability than a normal 137 switchback so I have zero regrets.
Just found this TH-cam channel and I am so happy that I finally found someone else with a TH-cam channel that rides in old forge! I just click on the video bc I was looking for snowmobiling videos and started to notice some familiar land marks!! I was watching the video hoping you would go on Mckeever (my road). happy ridding!!
tjrosell it's a beautiful site for sure! a go pro hero. the base model one without a screen on the back. upgrading to a Sony action cam though should pick up definition in the snow a bit better.
Revrider550 I haven't run my virb Garmin yet in forge. I want to be able to run the over lays of speed and GPS location. sweet ride. I run on an apex. sooo awesome you and your dad can enjoy that. I am 49 and my son 16, been enjoying the rides for a few years now. catch you up there.
Damion Morgan I put a lot of music in this one because this was before I got a mic so it broke up the video a bit. I've had a mic since the begging of 2017 though so the rest of my vlogs are a little more entertaining and have a bit less music. Thanks for the feedback though always appreciated
Camerin RIDES yea I've never liked arctic cat I've always grew up on ski doo had one Polaris but arctic cats are nice just never had any interest in them

Man that is a sick sled. Just bought a 2017 SBA 800 all black. Coming from a 2012 SB 600 so it will be a new shiny ball.

Evan Caron pretty decent. I've gotten around 2 hours outta mine. I find I get like and hour and then it seems like it's gonna die and then if I warm it up go inside or put it in a inner pocket and then use it again I get another hour out of it

Great video! Does the fuel tank and seat bother your legs when you step back on the running boards?

There's not a whole lot of snow where your at. How much accumulation have you had up there??
Bret Lysne09 yeah this was opening weekend of the trails in old forge new York. trails were decent Friday but pretty chewed up by Saturday. we got another 8-12" following this week and I'm my next video you can see the coverage is much better.
I always see you trailering
what kind of graphics kit on the 800 rev?
Boxer Boss SCS unlimited
thx nice sleds !
One question, I know the assault is a crossover, but did you buy it for trails?
The RC Expeditions I want to get into off trail riding but haven't gotten the chance yet really because In New York there's not a ton of places to go. we have one area that gets big snow but it normally settles within a day so you have to catch it the day of the snow fall. Do you guys go to daikers?
rleipold1 all the time! can be a little packed on weekends though
what sled was stuck and left in the pond?
David SoL Vincent was either a 2000 or 2001 arctic cat zl 600. not 100% sure on the year
How do you that trailer with a Jeep Patriot?
MXLook its actually a Jeep Commander. much bigger than a patriot and has a v8 so it pulls it no problem
I'm a skidoo fan, but that red Polaris in your driveway is sweet. any issues with it?

You should take out the music and get a mic so u can talk to us while riding
