For some reason I have had to replace this movement 3 times in my father's watch 515.6 in a Victorinox. I have read on forums of others also having issues with some movements arriving already not working. I came to this video to see if I would figure out what the issue is with them, as I've never had issues with any other quartz movement before. Can you shed any light as to what might be going on with them? Many thanks.

My watch date is not moving. So I opened my watch same as above but failed. After fitting battery, watch has no moving. I tried 6 hours. It's so hard. Find expert person.
if you are not used to its getting harder every second you work on it! sometimes its not even worth to repair such cal. the movement costs new assembled only 5$

Yeah, not all 515 caliber wheels are the same.
