Amazing video. I was touched by how emotional your wife was. I think we Norwegians take our nature for granted sometimes, not remembering how blessed we are. Its made me rethink and remember to be grateful. Hope you come again😃
Your country truly is one of the most spectacular on earth. It can be difficult to not take for granted what we've always had! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@calledtojourney I'll keep tabs on that. And make sure any due royalties be coming your way. Thank you for making me fall in love with my country again (from Bergen). But most of all, thanks for being awesome and inspirational 😄
I never get tired of all the beauty, even if it rains. If it snows , its even more beautiful. Full moon, snow around you and a cross country ski hike or a night outdoors watching the northern lights or.... There is so much ❤
You're welcome! And you truly do live in an amazing place. We heard that there was almost no tourism to Norway 20 years ago, which was crazy to hear. Thanks for watching!
Beautifully filmed...your videos are always captivating. I really loved your enthusiasm for the beauty of Norway and, of course, Angela's tears brought tears to my eyes as well. 🙂 In my opinion, having been fortunate enough to visit 42 countries in my life, Norway is the most beautiful place on earth. BTW...I'm TH-cam famous! At time 6:31 you caught the back of my head standing in line for the bus. I'll be hiring an agent today. 🤣
That's 'Not want to leave'I said to myself for 20years ago, therefore I moved to Norway. One of the best days of my life was , when I realized that I hadn't to leave😄
I know Kjosfossen when I see it! ❤ I'm from Norway and our family have a cabin not too far from Aurland, and I take the Flåmsbana every summer! If you ever come back I really recomend taking the Flåmsbana to Vatnahalsen Hotel (2nd to last stop on your way up) and take the zipline down the valley. It ends at Blomheller and you can bike back to Flåm from there, it's mostly flat and a really nice round trip. 😄 They sell that whole experience at the Flåm station; train ticket, zip line and bike rental 😄
I'm a Norwegian, and all the crying....yes it is true. In Norway? Just around the corner and the next corner and all of the next corners - Welcome back and cry as much as you wan't.
We really want to return and rent a little motorhome to tour your beautiful country for at least a month! We saw them literally everywhere we went. And yes, Angela will certainly cry a lot of happy tears on that trip! 😂
Really enjoyed this video! Such beauty was captured, and yet I'm sure it didn't do Norway justice. It's a country that's been on our list of places we'd love to visit one day, and watching your video makes us want to go even more. Well done! Btw, loved the verse at the end. Always in awe of how the Lord's works speak so loudly of Him.
Thanks for watching and your kind words! We tried very hard to capture as much of the beauty as we could. And yes, God's creation testifies to his Majesty! 😀
Stunning photography and narration. Can see why you were so "pumped" upon your return home. Would assume you've already applied for a Visa to stay longer in the country and brushing up on your Norwegian. Can see why you want to go back! I'm sure Angela loved the road with all the switchbacks rising above the fjord. Got a kick out of Kaylee "riding" her suitcase through the airport. LOL
Part of the reason for Angela's crying was knowing that we would have to leave! And yes, she thought the Eagle's road was...interesting.😉Thanks for watching and commenting!
I think we saw your cruise ship when we were to Flåm to visit Otternes Klyngetun, the best preserved traditional Norwegian village, and it was just as spectacular as Machu Picchu! My grandmother was from a klyngetun at Sogndal, from Petter Kvåle. You should walk to Molden Mountain and the Utladalen Valley with the Vettisfossen Waterfall. Urnes Stave Church is magical, but I think they start digging there next year for a new visitor center, so I fear there will be somewhat messy. We plan to sell our house, buy a good caravan, travel the axis Rondane-Fjellregionen-Geiranger-Sognefjorden, until all is photographed down, and then we head for France, leaving the upcoming balance battery and energy colony for Europe and Germany behind us. We just keep the images and memories. Luckily wine costs just one tenth in France, to quell our sadness.
Wow, it sounds like you have some big travel plans! There are some beautiful places in your country. We hope that you have a wonderful time, and thanks for watching!
It's an awesome place, and we've just learned that Norway will continue to allow big cruise ships into the fjords until 2032. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Just want to make you aware of that not every nation is as extreme fanatic religious as USA ....where such ideas as you apparently have is "normal". So including Norway and it's nature into any religious portfolio and credit it to "the lord" is something we can be without. It is much more preferred to show some educated, critical and analytical rationing. So many conflicts around the world are based on religion.....just watch the world news......or just the US election campaign. Influence and power/control is what religion is all about.
We give credit to God because we believe that He created the world, including Norway. We understand that not everyone shares our belief, but we will not hide the fact that we are Christians in our videos. Sadly, many evil things in this world are done in the name of "religion," but conflict is engrained in human nature and not dependent on religious beliefs. We appreciate you watching and hope you enjoyed the rest of the video.
