It’s damn near impossible outside of maybe triple option teams to run the ball anymore with 0 pass threat. Stop blaming the OL and scheme. If ya can’t pass, you aren’t going to be able to run

Wouldn’t you agree that scheme can dictate the ability to pass?

We have Kaleb brown. A former 4 star from Ohio state. If we utilize him and Anderson in the RPO we could be dangerous. Both guys have speed and are pretty agile

Can’t see 3 losses? What are the spreads gonna be on Washington, Wisconsin, Iowa St, Nebraska, and away at Minnesota, Michigan St, Maryland, and UCLA? 7 - 1 in those games?

Agreed. I bet half of the games come down to the last possession. 50/50 at best.
Iowa can always hang around during close games, but if they're down 2 scores, they have little chance of coming back.

With the top five defense Iowa will have, all the offense needs to do is score twice per half consistently and Iowa will win a ton of games.

Iowa just needs to stop putting effort into recruiting good offensive players and just go all in on defense ncaa 25 style no.1 95% defense

Iowa needs a black qb to change the atmosphere with the addition of more aggressive WRs Iowa football staff needs to let go of that traditional bs if we want real change it’ll take us not being fully focused on being TEU it’s ridiculous. Kirk needs to hang it up as well we need younger faces in order to modernize our system

Exactly who cares Iowa would have still got blown out in the big ten championship and their bowl game whether 11-1 or 10-2. Iowas trophy room is going to get real sparse with the new super conferences and playoffs.

@SmilesPerGallon- Nebraska is getting better. Some year it will pop, but I think it is a year away until we maybe see em as a top 12 program. They are for sure trending the right way. But ya have a head coach who at Baylor was 0 and 11 versus ranked team, and is 0 and 3 at Neb vs ranked teams. So as great of a talker he is, he is gonna have to shut up and prove it that he can bear the better teams. That 0 and 14 almost makes me cringe.

@@RyanmanderscheidNeb defense has to create more turnovers. They are going to be stout against the run though if they stay healthy. They played a bunch of trash offenses last year and weren't able to turn em over enough.
