I made one for my 4 year old grandson last year. He's 5 now.Still loves his snake. His mom just sent me another picture of him with it. I have to go up and watch your video because the pattern or tutorial I followed was hard to follow and I improvised a lot esp for the tongue . Thankyou for the video.I just found your channel and if you have more tutorials like this one I'll be making them all...eventually :)
Happy to hear that. It’s ok to modify the patterns and make them your way. They will be unique. Feel free to check the other tutorials and thank you for your feedback, which shows me what patterns should I be focusing more on. 😊
making a big white snake using thicker chenille yarn rn. i only have a head so far and maybe 4 inches of a body but omg hes adorable. ty for the pattern, im making one for my friend too after this
Omg thank you so nuch for this video!!.❤️ Super easy to follow! Just finished the head and starting on the body now! Just sibscribed and cant wait to make more of your projects!! Thank you queen.✨✨
@karlabc9251 yes, you stuff as you go or you can do it at the end but you have to make small balls of stuffing and use a long stick or the end of thick long knitting needle to push back the stuffing.
@@XoxoAri1 it could be, because I was recording the video at the same time. It also depends how long you make the whole body/tail. Longer tail more time, shorter tail less time.
@@MyYarnLoft Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. I am very new to crochet so tutorials like yours are much appreciated. New subscriber here. 🥰

thank you for this tutorial! i was just wondering, do you stuff the body with filling or is it empty? thank you!
Yes. I stuff it as I go. Thank you for watching.
thanks for the quick reply! @@MyYarnLoft have a wonderful day
@@cozicoz thank you 😊
I was wondering the same

Row 7 i cannot get very well. 3 increase then i just go blank. Can somebody explain for me please. Thank you. 😊
3 increses, 7 single crochets, 3 increases, 8 single crochets
How long will it take you to make. It like 3 hours?
@@XoxoAri1 it could be, because I was recording the video at the same time. It also depends how long you make the whole body/tail. Longer tail more time, shorter tail less time.
Very Cute. How much yarn do you need?
Not much at all, and you can do it as long or as short as you want or even make it with stripes of different colors 😊
Hello!
How many yarn is necesary?
Not much yarn is needed, because you can make shorter snakes. Maybe around 100 grams.
What if I stuff a little in the snake's body ? Can it wrap around flexibly ?
Yes, it will make it more flexible probably, but you have to stuff the head so it stays in shape.
im gonna make scrap yarn snakes
That’s an awesome idea. 💡
🎉❤
👍❤️
What size eyes did you use?
8 mm in diameter
Do we stuff the body?
Yes
Where can we find the written pattern please?
In the description of the video where the timestamps are
What size hook?
3.5 mm
Do you have a written pattern
Not yet. You could slow down the video from the gear ⚙️ and pause when needed.

Will 50g of yarn be enough?
It might be, depending on how long you want the tail to be. Perhaps you can go till you finish all the yarn.
@@MyYarnLoft hello, and thank you for replying. The size of your snake is quite good. How many grams did you use?
@literallylyric262 I haven’t weighed in the yarn and because it’s stuffed it will weigh more if I put it on the scale now.
What does A mean? Is it decrease?
Yes.
@@MyYarnLoft Can you please explain rows 14 and 15 please.
