Saved my new punching tool. I was beating my head how to punch my gym belt. After seeing the trick in this video i punched in seconds. Thanks you very much 🙏
The Jvedo hand press machine I use is more labor-saving and can install a round hole punch and a prong for the leather opening. Very convenient and efficient
Hi Ryan, I am sorry we no longer sell the punches and they are working on updating the video. You can usually find the punches in Walmart or craft stores.
Hey Wanda, On department belts this may happen and a bit of glue may help. This is not an issue on our belts as we use real full grain leather on all of ours. Department store belts may delaminate though. Thanks!
I made it by following your instructions; successfully punched two holes on my newly purchased belt😁 Thank you.
That's great! Glad the video helped you out!
Thank you, you saved me! My belt looked awful and now it's neat thanks to this video
Glad it helped!

Thank you! Great technique. Clear instructions. Saved me from buying a new belt!
Glad it helped!
As a person who love adding spikes to things, ive always kinda struggled. But this hella helped!!🩷
Glad it helped!
Thank you, that was very helpful. I've recently lost weight and didn't want to get new belts just yet. This will save me some money. 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you sir for the explanation 🙏

Thanks for sharing. For sure if you are doing a lot of holes. If you just need an occasional hole the hand punch is much more affordable.
I have learnt a lot from your video. Thank you
Where can you purchase the belt hole punchers? I looked on the Hank's Belts website and couldn't find them.
We do not sell the hole punches but you can usually find them at Walmart and craft stores.
@@HanksBelts ok, thanks. Just found a decent one on EBay.
Most of the hole punchers that are sold are too small and the jaws don't open large enough for the thick belts.
Perfect instructions! Thank you, sir. ☺
Glad it was helpful!
Where do buy these? Dont see on your website
Can a leather punch cut a hole in a padded dog collar (.5" thick)?
It should handle it. You may have to rotate the punch while punching is all.
Thank you for making this video.
My pleasure!
The link for the hole punches is coming up as page not found. Are you still selling them?

@@HanksBelts Thanks for the quick response! I own two of your belts and they are the best I own! I just found your channel, keep up the good work!
Start at 1:15 for adjustments; easier than assumed!
Whenever I use my hole puncher the belts seem to separate. Should I line the hole with glue after?

You're welcome!
I came here to see Hank. Where the heck is Hank?!?
Thank you, Brian! Good technique!
Glad to help! Thanks!
This messed with my belt. Tried another hole without rotating amd went fine.
Thanks
I don't have enough strength( I'm female) or what's the problem? I just can't make that damn hole 😑
Have you tried to rotate the tool side to side as you squeeze. This will usually cut through much easier than simply squeezing.
But the holes look like crap and eventually makes the belt go bad.
Hey…!?! WHAT ABOUT A NAIL&HAMMER…?
That works also! Just not as neat but gets the job done.
Very helpful information thank you so much. No I know! 😎
You are very welcome. So glad it helped!
Thanks
