Maybe it’s me but Battersea Power Station feels like a cool place to hang out.
It is a cool place to hang out. I’ve done the Lift109 tour although it’s a little pricey for what it is, I appreciate the effort they’ve made to show the history and marvel that power station represents.
Thank you WW! The diamond is stunning! I didn't realize Battersea Power station was so big, it was like being on another planet especially with all the apartments so close by. I think I still prefer all the little courtyards in old London maybe it's just me getting old!😵💫

Hello WW. Oh yes I heard about this. Looks like mum and I are missing some great events in London whilst we are here in Vancouver. Will watch this soon with great interest. I now have the capability to watch YT on my 32 inch tv screen here just as back in the UK..Hope all is well with you. My back is much better now and interestingly, doing 30 min workouts on the elliptical trainer here in my apartment complex seems to have helped greatly. Take care and speak soon. 🇬🇧🇨🇦

@davidcunningham3993 Yes they do, though on the way out people were peddling but no lights were coming on, not sure why.

I wonder how long Battersea will exist, really? Considering most of the shops are so high end, and not ones your average Londoner is going to frequent on a regular basis, plus the downturn in brick and mortar shopping malls in general since the 2000's, I wonder how long it's going to be sustainable?
It's still pretty amazing though, and I might considering doing the Lift 109 on my next visit. That does look awesome.
Have you done the lift, WW? Can't remember whether I've seen that one on here or not?..Anyway, LIKED, 👍(as always)..Blessed day to all my fellow Watched Walker Watchers
@TheUluxian I've not been on the lift yet, I might try it at some point though I prefer viewing platforms that are more open air and not behind glass which I believe this is. All the best to you too.
The large light outside power stating was amazing, think it was called the Singularity. Thank you.
@mariapotter2620 Yes, the Singularity is spectacular! It reminded me of one of the installations at Canary Wharf except the lights form a sphere here instead of a grid.

Hi MWW. Loved this showing of the Lights Festival at Battersea Power Station. London never fails in it's creativity. The Diamond was truly amazine from all angles you shot. I love the design of the buildings that surround Battersea. The entire area is beautiful. The camera you use is great. I noticed when walking up the stairs to the 2nd level was steady & flawless. Thank you. I am still smiling....🥰🥰
