the kobolt fight was not what convinced naval. in fact she was really annoyed that our resident heroine cried like a bitch then. she was convinced during the spider fight. i dont think it was shown in the anime but the fact that hibiki kept fighting even when it was clearly hopeless just so the others might be able to make it out alive is what conviced naval
Yes, currently aside from the demon lord, Io is the strongest in terms of pure fighting power among the demon generals (Sofia and Lancer are not demons). In this fight Io isn't using his full power yet. But well compare to makoto, he's still on the baby level.
hio what is truly f up with war in this world at the start both partys let someone "pray" to te godes and the team of the preattyer preson gets a buff (can´t remember the exact nr bur somthin link 10-30% buff) while the other team gets the exat as a debuff. Obviously when hymans fight non hymans it is obvios wich team gets the buff and debuff. (this is alsow somthig that gets removed with the anti godes ring)
fun fact! do you know the ending song of The Eminence in Shadow were sang by the shadow garden VA ( season 1 by the seven shade, and season 2 by the Named Numbers).
I think the 2 last episode were good, but most of us waited 2 and half years between season 1 and season 2 to see the following up of the story, but the first episode was "almost" just a recap of season 1 and the episodes 2 and 3 were not about makoto at all. more people would have like these episodes if they were later in the season.

I believe the goddess blessings quadruple their power and at the same time debuffs the enemy to a fraction of their original power.
Close. She debuffs them by the same amount as the blessing, hence then hyumans never had any worries about wars
That’s why hyumans know nothing about tactics and only brut force their way through.

When they introduced the heroes and their parties, I was dismissive, but Naval was a real one. RIP.
