This place is stunningly beautiful. You will be ruined forever after visiting here. It takes a piece of you and you're forever connected with the landscape, buildings and people
I go every summer. I love the land and beaches. I just love summer there. I love riding my bike around the island. My house has a private beach in it's backyard and I let my friends come over and at night we have a nice fire at the beach. (All block islanders, this is a helpful tool. If your house has a lot of bugs get peppermint spray it kills them really good)
This is beautiful. I have not been to Block Island yet (going later this summer), but through my genealogy research I have learned I am descended from James Sandys, one of the original settlers. Can't wait to see it in person.
There is a Wikipedia article titled "Slavery among Native Americans in the United States," which includes "slavery by and enslavement of Native Americans roughly within what is currently the United States of America." If you have more information with reliable sources to support it (personal recollections don't count unless they are published, most preferably in an academic journal), please add it. Thanks.
Hello Justin! I love your stuff! I am an up incoming vendor on the island and was wondering if I could use some of your shots for an upcoming commercial. If you would like to look at my stuff you can find me on Instagram and Facebook at Kyler.Craftz. If you'd like to reach me please feel free to message me!
In 1991, The Nature Conservancy named Block Island one of 12 “Last Great Places” in the western hemisphere. This special designation highlights the island's abundance of rare plants and animals and the community's unique support for conservation. Over 43% of BI is preserved open space.
Keeps me sane for the whole year until I go back each summer

I remember seeing a drone at the beach July-August last year... Maybe you?
Are you professionally licensed? I love the video, just surprised to see some of the shots from over 400ft. I wish I could go up that high!
Are You Allowed To Fly Drones There???
😻😻😻♥️
P3 Pro?
Nice! What is the music?
Hi, Just saw the credits at the end. Who is The Dig?
SUPER COOL, I should pay you for watching this.
I posted a video from Block Island this summer on my channel. Bringing the drone there was a good call. I like the video though.
Phantom 3 Pro? Inspire 1?
Yep it was Phantom 3 Pro. They're so much smaller and higher quality now
are you the guy doing footage of the big windmills off of the island?
Nope, I actually haven't taken it out this summer.
A long time ago relative of mine lived there as a Native American slave, and I will be the first with her name to go back there after her.

Who else got the "sail away on the BI ferry" tune in their head?
Aren't flying drones there illegal because there is an airport on the island?
Not illegal, just have to watch your proximity to the airport and height.
My favorite place on earth. I want to die on BIRI.
Dude are you allowed to fly drones here?
Nope

This looks like something off forza horizon
The people of this island have ravaged its ecosystem. That island is no place for a sprawling lawn....
Elliot Anderson trust me a lot of it is preserved woodlands

Really beautiful place, incredibly poor choice of "music".
Horrible music
