In my opinion, having unitary republic is bit too united in term of government (In our real life timeline) like they in Java and us in other province which is why some province want to be independent from Indonesia as well other some unitary countries too Because unitary government will have that province important resources, and political stuff or neglecting that province which some people in that province doesn't like
