Hi You can buy a property at auction which may be below market price. You can buy it cash or other option if using finance can be a bridge loan. Thing to always keep in mind is what's your exit strategy. If you are buying as investment and will sell the property after renovation then your income may not be a concern, however, if you plan to keep the property and want to refinance then I will make sure at the start that you can get a mortgage.
