I used to install flooring when I lived in Tennessee many years ago. I was okay I guess, trained by seasoned professionals. How I wish I had been trained by you. I would probably still be a installer, and a really good one at that. I’m in a totally different profession that suits me better now tough. Your customers are lucky to have you, Even if they don’t know how lucky they are. I still have my tools, so thank you for your tutelage on your channel here. Between you and many of your subscriber’s comments, I am learning, in my old age, how I can up my game, should I decide to do a carpet drop here and there.
I love your attitude towards installing. Carpet and vinyl took MANY years for me to become proficient at but I always found a joy and peace at a well done job. I have gotten older and learned many other trades now, but still love getting the stretcher out occasionally. Thank you for your effort and for having pride in your work.
Must say I am jealous of the crab lol, I would gladly trade 2 of my Robert's for one of those, I get so tired of buying tools and then a couple years later they dramatically improve it, really annoying lol
I been using that mini stretcher to install for 4 or 5 months and the head on the end that’s not bolted on is pulling apart and twisting It gets to long to fit back in the case Might have to send it back for warranty
G'day ruben. just wondering what was in the versablade box? trowel blades I'm guessing? also im a huge fan of the roller, i've had my quick tuck for about a decade, i swear by it.
Yeah that’s how it was originally so I just put it back like it was so there would be no reason for anyone to say we should’ve did this or we should’ve did that
Gotta say I'm not a huge fan of that separating color either lol, it matches nothing on the carpet or hallway, total misfit, somebody dropped the ball on that one

That's the way I've always applied my sealer is with my finger like that. You straight edging the seams or does that stuff run a row?
Ruben get drywall mesh seam tape and use it to build the cpt up level

Crain 515 is a lifesaver on uncooperative seams.

Easier to pull the latex bottle toward you when using finger method
