OK, the final stageof MotoRallyCupUkraine is over. I have got the first place and i am the owner of MotoRallyCup of Ukraine -2021 in big trail class. It was not easy but XT660r is just awesome bike now.
Hello and nice project... Do you write on a forum about all install about suspension for triple clans and lock??? Thank you I have a Lc4 suspension and i want to install on xt660r
Thanks! I'm going to do video in action but our local MX track is in rough condition. There is the final stage of MRCU in two weeks so I've made some changes. First of all there is Acerbis auxiliary tank on the left side with electric pump to move fuel to the main tank with switch on the bars. And exhaust was moved up because it hits swingamp on bottoming from the jumps. I'll do my best to make video with changes and in action with jumps till the end of 2021.
@@arthurmoto1956 ok so what’s the difference between the X and R swing arms , ( I gave the R ) yes I think 🤔 the Z looks Aluminium and my R is box steel ? , so is the X lighter and why is it better than the R ? .
@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 X one is much stronger, that`s the reason you need it. I don`t know which one is lighter but X is aluminium. And it needs another links and chainguard to install it.
@@Eric-rj9im Lower part is OEM, upper clamp is used billet one from Ebay. I don't remember brand exactly but you can use Applied racing or Scotts or something else similar. Offset is usual 25 mm and works great to mantain neutral cornering.
@@arthurmoto1956 Thanks Arthur for all your time for me but I’m a bit lost! The KYB is 48mm in diameter, how is it possible to use the OEM lower clamp which is designed for a 43mm? (I’m definitely not a mechanics 😂)
Last stage of MRCU2021 was full of technical stuff, rainy and slippery but even on the lowest RPMs on the second gear the engine was very good and tracktable. No problem.
Looks great!! waiting to see it in action!!! thanks for the video!
Thanks! I need to make some work on our local MX track after this sunday race. I'll try to make video as soon as possible.
super cool
Good job
Cool to see the mods you have made.
Hi Arthur, been following your xt upgrades on the adv forum. Hope you are safe and well. 😊
Thanks! I am fine. russians were stopped just 63 km far from my house.

It`s Yamaha! I had only to press original steering stem in YZ lower triple and to fabricate spacer for upper triple.
@@arthurmoto1956 were i can found.... Something imformation is pleasure
@@xrv_world_explorer2k207 You have KTM forks so I reckon you have to fabricate new stem accordingly to your dimensions. And to weld turn stops.
Nice! I would love to see how it performs compare to a standard.

Hay mate , Paul from Australia what is the rear swing arm ? Looks like the Tenere XT one ☝️ ?
Hi, Paul! No, this one is from XT660X 2008. It is possible to use swingarm from XT660Z but it needs some frame welding.

@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 No, this is XT660R with xt660X swingarm.
Looks great, congrats! I have a XTR660 myself, could you give me the references of the both front fork & the rear shock? Thanks !
Thanks for reply! There is a whole story of mods advrider.com/f/threads/xt660-x-and-r-thread.741342/page-16
Forks are SSS KYB from YZ450f. Shock is Ohlins BMW R850/1100 based DIY one.
One last question, which triple clamp did you use with the KYB fork? Thanks!

For which model are the pegs?
They all are the same. The only difference is mounting kit. But you can fit any pair of Fastway footpegs with use of turning machine.
Have you had any problems with it cutting out on low revs?

Fucking hot , i want yo do this with My xt660r 2015
