    In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
    These materials are also available via channel membership on TH-cam: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

    Chose between these two for my 11 month old yesterday actually. Ended up with the aer+. Mostly bc the full recline and the canopy (the butterlfy canopy is a bit more open when it’s fully extended and I don’t want too much wind on baby). Bought the bumper bar with it but not the footrest since I didn’t like it, it would have been better with a ”harder” footrest that don’t dip down in the middle 🙄
    Also looked at the ergobaby metro+ which is a cheeper choice but has many good features (adjustable handle, ”real” adjustable footrest, easier to adjust recline position and full recline) but mostly didn’t choose it bc the canopy was too high up and didn’t cover as well as the other two and the seat dimensions are smaller too.
    The ”perfect” travel stroller still hasn’t been invented 😂

      This is the predicament I’m in.. metro + seems amazing but canopy seems short! Joolz seems like it’s winning tbh, the canopy is huge, I just wish you could unclip them and turn them around to make it parent facing, I know the nuna triv lets you do that, but it’s slightly bigger so not plane cabin friendly, if you’re not fussed about plane cabin friendly then the nuna triv is good as it lets you switch from world facing to parent facing! If metro + had a longer canopy it would be amazing and if either the metro+ or Joolz or any of the plane friendly ones switched from world facing to parent facing, would be amazing .. however I’m sure they have attachments to make the canopy longer so if that’s the case then the metro+ wins

    For us, it’s the UPPABABY MINU. We have it but wanted something that for sure would fit in the overhead bin. Ended up purchases the bugaboo butterfly. It nearly tipped multiple times without a back pack on the handle bar. Also it may have a high seat back, but the straps at the tallest and most extended position didn’t fit our 87 percentile 3.5 year old, so we returned it. Next we got the joolz aer+. The footrest was completely useless as this add on is so… flimsy. My daughters legs ok it would pop it down. I didn’t like that the bumper bar was only swing away and not swing away and swivel like the uppababy strollers. It almost fell on her or she almost knocked into it multiple times over a 2 day period. The basket was also pretty small. I did like the canopy tho. Between the two, I’d pick joolz cos it seemed it’ll last longer but I ended up keeping my uppababy minu. 😅. So much happier for us

      im going on an international trip with my 1 year old for the first time and also thinking about getting the MINU so i was wondering where you check in the MINU stroller since it won’t fit in the overhead cabin? i was hoping to stroll with him up until the boarding gates, do you know if they give back the strollers that were taken from the boarding gate at the boarding gate? or will it be at the luggage pick up area?

    • @Mommyingthis

      @@karlasantos3999 if you bring it all the way to boarding you can gate check it. When people deplane it’ll be there for u to use again and not with the other luggage. You need a gate check tag from the luggage counter. But idk how it works internationally. I advise get the travel bag to prevent any damage and germs lol

    I didn’t like butterfly. Awkward break pedal, not smooth manoeuvring with a toddler 13 kg, need to push with two hands to turn, and small wheels. So, I got Joolz aer😀 easy to push and overall seems like a very good stroller

    Can you share your thoughts on the Zoe Traveler and Tour+ as a more affordable compact travel stroller option that can fit in an overhead cabin? If you do not recommend - can you share what you would recommend in the $200-300 range that also provides good sun protection (unlike the GB Pockit)?

    We have a 2 Yr old, live in a town and use trains frequently. Need something for the school run and days out such as a zoo trip or museum. We were going to go for the butterfly but vs a reduced price aer (£100 difference) would you say the butterfly is still the better choice? Sadly neither uppababy minu2 or the joolz hub are anywhere near us to look at and can't manage anything too big or heavy on the train

    I cannot decide between the aer and the yoyo. I watched your comparison between the both models, and was leaning towards the yoyo. But we are tall parents, so the aer seems the better option. Any tall parents around here? Help 😅

    • @katinkaklijn9417
      @katinkaklijn9417 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes, we have had a yo-yo and now have the aer. I think hands down the aer is the winner also compared to butterfly. Butterfly is heavy for a travel stroller and tends to tip around corners. I think the aer has the best push out of all. Also the wheels of the butterfly and yo-yo block up with muck of you take them even slightly off road.

      We're tall (190/175) and ruled out Yo-Yo at the store, couldn't walk behind it. Initially bought an Aer (not +), and liked it. When then Butterfly came out, we changed to that and love it. For us, the footrest, harnest and shopping basket works way better on butterfly. Height-wise I think for us butterfly is a bit easier to walk with, although the handle is a tiny bit lower it feels like the wheels are further away. I'd never buy a Yo-Yo today, I only think they are popular as for long it was the only available option for IATA-approved.

    If you are a new parent that does not yet have a pushchair, I can't recommend the Aer+ enough. From newborn, you can use the bassinet which is very high quality and it has a substatial hood to keep them comfortable even in windy conditions. The best thing is the bassinet holds it's shape and can fold with the frame, unlike the babyzen yoyo2 which you have to choose either a bassinet that will fold or one that will hold it's shape. The car mount adapters make it really easy to attach a car seat to. The cybex car seat is great, as it can fold flat when outside the car so you don't need to get the baby out. As your baby gets older, you can use the pushchair part of the aer+ which is really high quality. Best of all, it's really easy to store, transport and you can take it on flights with you. THe perfect do it all push chair!
