Hi, just a little nugget of experience. We use a larger version of the blue light big zapper. We noticed when we put it by a window it actually attracts bugs to the window! If you want to get the bugs from inside your van, place it someplace that is dark away from windows. That way it will attract the ones inside not bring more to the window. Hope that helps!

Your gray water tank smells because you drained broccoli water in it and that can make it really ripe smelling- in the future, just save the water to a bottle and pour it in the grass somewhere another time- it's good for the grass and good for no gray water odor. Really enjoy your channel and keep up the fun!

I just wanted to share my secret for keeping tank oder under control. I put a good amount of dishwasher liquid and water (10 gallons or more). I then drive around a good bit (which shouldn’t be a problem for you). Then dump immediately after a drive. The amount of grease and gunk that comes out will surprise you!!! Safe travels!! Use the tablets between treatment to maintain order control, but they do little to get rid of the source - grease. I use in black tank as well.
Look up the Geo method works great for black & grey tanks it’s 1 cup dawn 1 cup Calgon softener found at Walmart 5/10 gal mix. I would also consider this prior to winterizing. Xoxo ❤❤❤
If you don’t mind some advice, I wouldn’t place the bug zapper over your head when you’re sleeping. As you stated, the bugs are drawn to the light, so place it away from where you are. Maybe in the cockpit or on the floor near the sliding door, but NOT in your kitchen or bedroom. This is the same methodology used with backyard bug zappers, place it away from you and the bugs will be drawn away. Good luck!
Happy Camper is the best tank treatment I have used. I use it every time I dump my tank. Another thing you can do is pour a bottle of Pine-sol in the tank. Please let us know how the tablets work for you. Another great video.
We used those same tabs for the drains in our travel trailer and they worked great! We also used the Fresh Cab along with Bounce dryer sheets when we closed it up for the winter and never had a rodent problem in our camper.
I'm at work and thought, let me check and see if there's a new vlog, and YES! You have become my favorite youtuber over all categories but especially vanlifer/rv'er. I started watching these videos because I've been interested in van/rv travel and wanted to see everyone's different experiences. I think if you're considering a campground membership but aren't sure when or where you'll be venturing off next, it would probably be better to look at KOA or other nationwide options rather than I private campground, unless they have other locations that won't limit using your membership. The best tank deodorizer I have found is called Happy Camper. I get it on Amazon. I've tried several things, but have now been using this for the last three years without an odor issue. We use it in both our gray and black tanks - no odor and no chemical smell!

Get you some herbs for the winter time for iron... burdock root (minerals), redraspberry (cramps, periods), seamoss (minerals), elderberry (for throat), bladderwrack... research them.

It’s a great way to get in some living foods for ex: plant based milk, sprinkle of oats, cashew or walnuts, banana, some of that honey & hemp seeds you bought and blend it up. It gives your digestive system a bit of a break. I dunno what I’d do without it I make everything in it. Thanks for such a generously long video xoxo💐

When I winterize my cabin for the winter I put unwrapped bars of Irish Spring in all of the cabinets & drawers. I don't do rodents of any kind, can get rid of snakes & spiders but don't do mice,etc. Nothing I have tried for mice has worked as well. I have started using them at home, in my pantry & kitchen cupboards. Love your new rug, perfect for your home. Can't wait to see how your recipe works tonight. I realize that you don't have much free time with your hectic work schedule but, you may want to do a search on TH-cam and find some videos on living fulltime in a van. Wow, that is a long time to lock in at a campsite. I could understand 1 year or if they had multiple sites and you could float among them. Not sure I would like to give a 3 year commitment to one location. Good idea to look around, first. Another fantabulous meal! And no need to explain why a non-meat eater substitutes with meat like replacement. Like you said, doesn't mean you don't like the taste of meat. I've been meat and dairy free for a long time. The best gray tank treatment we’ve found is Happy Camper. Works way better than the lemon scented deodorizer pods from the rv store.
When I winterize my cabin for the winter I put unwrapped bars of Irish Spring in all of the cabinets & drawers. I don't do rodents of any kind, can get rid of snakes & spiders but don't do mice,etc. Nothing I have tried for mice has worked as well. I have started using them at home, in my pantry & kitchen cupboards. Love your new rug, perfect for your home. Can't wait to see how your recipe works tonight. I have used it in several ways & made a Mexican casserole last night that I really liked. Stay safe, so glad to have found your channel.

@@RedBoneMelanin84 Don't know for certain the closest to a storage unit that I have tried is in my garage. I assume that it has worked out there but haven't actually looked everywhere in my garage.

I loved the length of this video giving us more time to visit with you. You have inspired me to cook healthier. I routinely buy mushrooms now and actually cook them (instead of forgetting and having to throw them out). I realize that you don't have much free time with your hectic work schedule but, you may want to do a search on TH-cam and find some videos on living fulltime in a van. I've learned so much from others as I'm preparing to go fulltime. Take care and thank you for inviting us into your life and traveling with you on your journey.
Wow, that is a long time to lock in at a campsite. I could understand 1 year or if they had multiple sites and you could float among them. Not sure I would like to give a 3 year commitment to one location. Good idea to look around, first.
Another fantabulous meal! And no need to explain why a non-meat eater substitutes with meat like replacement. Like you said, doesn't mean you don't like the taste of meat. I've been meat and dairy free for a long time. I feel much better too.
