Truth!
I feel like Georgi is the only differentiated adult at the table. It is very distressing to watch the "witch hunt" against him, and to watch him time and time again, have to defend himself without Darcy supporting him or trying to understand how he feels. It seems like their entire relationship is about her feelings and her traumas and there is no room for him in their relationship...esp with Stacy and Florian and now this friend...It is just difficult to watch train-wreck after train-wreck on what could potentially be a loving relationship.
Not Only That She Also Got People In Her 👂 Planting That Bug/Seed Of Distrust & Stacey Is The Main One That's Doin It & She's Loving It, This All Could Be Good If Darcey Didn't Listen To Any Of It Or Anybody For That Matter But She Continue To Sabatage Her Relationships

She's just letting her sister and friends run with it. They make a huge deal out of it and watch her spin out of control. It's gonna leave Darcey having to go home with an angry Georgi no matter what happens probably and her friends will go home to their "happy" lives.

I third (?) that…is that a thing? Lol. I’ve been watching Dr. Honda for a long time and he seems like the most neutral, differentiated and open person (obviously his job), but I love that he is entertaining us while educating us as well. I’ve learned so much from him, and I know he doesn’t need us cheering him on, but Dr. Honda, you really do a wonderful service for us all. 🤗👍

@@chee8572 I ended up going to the reddit forum and finding the post. I actually DO agree that Dr. Kirk was in the wrong and was invalidating people with that illness BUT he is human, humans make mistakes despite trying their best.
My heart breaks for Georgi. Honestly if anyone had a right to be flipping over tables, it'd be him.
He deserves better. Darcey and Stacey are too old to be behaving like this.

I think Stacey would rather focus on what’s wrong with Georgi instead of focusing on her own issues. I believe that she is still hurt that Florian cheated on her. So she has become fixated on Darcey’s relationship. Darcey is so insecure and is becoming her own worst enemy.
Because if you look at Florian he is not happy at all in that relationship and I think once he gets Green Card he's gonna fly the coop on Stacey's ass fast and I honestly can't blame him Because Stacey, like Darcey is very annoying.

Let the man live in peace, if you really don't trust him and are going to believe the friend of a friend who heard it from another friend 4 months after it was supposed to have supposedly happened who's identity can't even be revealed then she needs to just break up with him now. I remember Kirk saying many people who are “dramatic” need the drama from other people because passivity is unnerving to them, without drama they don’t think the person really cares. It really stuck out to me because I never understood that behaviour, it just seems exhausting, but Kirk’s explanation makes sense.
But D&S have also said they were shy and or bullied when they were younger so I wonder if when they became more outspoken they perceive their 180 as being strong and standing up for themselves, where as to us it just seems rude, entitled and at its core level completely ineffective
I am on Georgi's side. I believe that he's honest. This whole situation with the lay saying that a friend's friend said that Georgi called the group "white trash" is like someone tying up his hands behind his back and taking swings at him. He can't defend himself and he has nothing solid to grasp on to, but hearsay. I can see Georgi's emotional energy getting drained episode after episode dealing with Darcy's insecurities and her friends attacks, and it is really sad to watch.
IKR!! he can't even properly defend himself and argue because he doesn't even know who's saying this stuff about him. If you've got the guts to spread rumours which could potentially ruin a couple, then show your face girl!!!!

Georgi Was Accused Of Calling Them American Trash, Not White Trash
This scenario reminds me of something you recently said in a podcast about your borderline patients, and how they might often make accusations or conflict in order recreate their trauma and "test" the person to see if they can soothe them.
I hope Georgi at least got paid enough to make this worth it. Ironically, that is all Darcey is providing. I believe he is a good guy and needs to go and not look back.
So I've heard from a friend that their friend heard the neighbours sisters cousin in law say this and this.

Yes, her victim mentality seems to be blocking her ability to be self-aware and accountable for how she is contributing to relationship disharmony.
Georgi always has good, intelligent points when it comes to these constant accusations, but they make it seem like everything he says is bogus and wrong. No wonder Georgi looks ten years older comparing to just a while ago when he was first introduced to us.
All these people are dogwater, I am so over Darcey and Stacy and their classless friends. I honestly feel bad for Georgi but I also don't know why he doesn't just cut his losses and move on. Nothing about the situation he's in seems appealing, and Darcey just seems like WAYYYY too much work with very little reward.

Perhaps Darcy's friends have the same issue Stacy often shows - a competitiveness - and none of them seem to be happy when - Darcy is Happy.

I have a brother who is seven years younger than me and has always been angry or upset when things go well for me. He has always been competitive and I wonder why. It makes me sad because I see him not being happy when things go well for me.

Maybe your parents always compared him to you. He can resent you instead of the parents, who are to blame for creating this onesided 'competition'.
I had a friend like that; always second to her younger sister, who fulfilled all the dreams the parents had. While my friend was herself, which was not aligned with what the parents wanted.
Maybe talk it out with your brother from a kind and curious place. I hope it will connect you, instead of cause any drama.

Dr. Kirk I’m sure the show producers told the cast to exaggerate and fabricate a storyline for the show or else there’d be no content or drama. Take everything with a grain of salt & don’t believe everything 100%. They needed a storyline so they came up with the “Georgi is the villain” storyline. I’m sure they all just laugh once the cameras stop rolling

yes he is hes unemployed. I've been in his situation. where my partner was constantly threatening to kick me out every time there was a disagreement or argument. I would bring up an issue and the instant response would be: ok then get out move out. which I couldn't because I was living in their house and barely making any money.
darcey has all the control and she wants it that way. thats why she doesn't date anyone with their own means.

The only thing that makes Georgi questionable is the fact that he continues to hang out with these people. Seriously, he knows better so he should just move on, he's not going to be happy around people who only seem interested in being surrounded by drama.

Fun fact: the correct way to say Georgi's name is by pronouncing both g's the same way they're pronounced in the word goose. Ghe-OR-ghee. Trust me, I'm Bulgarian =)
Also, while Georgi doesn't seem super affectionate, I don't find anything wrong in his actions so far. Dr Kirk, your analysis is great as always!
The lack of affection from Georgi is precisely what makes me question his motives.
I once moved to a smaller town to a different country - after a while, it turned out there were a lot of things "said" about me. About my sexuality, people claiming to have slept with me, what kind of drugs I do etc - *none* of which were true. Firstly, it was a *shock* that such *lies* would be spread about me, I just didn't understand *why* anyone would do that. I had never experienced it before. And secondly, when I confronted people and told them those rumors were NOT true, they didn't believe me! It didn't matter what I said and how long I tried to convince them, they just wouldn't believe me. And there was *no way* I could prove those rumors were nothing but LIES! I felt sad and devastated about it, and helpless. For me to have a "reputation" that had ZERO bases in reality. And then I felt angry - angry at people for creating and spreading lies about me, and at others for believing them even when I said they're 100% *not* true. This happened 15 years ago and I still get upset thinking about it.
So my heart goes out to Georgi here - I can really relate to how he's feeling. It doesn't matter what he says or does, they're not gonna believe him. The truth doesn't matter.
I so hope I get some ads with Reo Speedwagon on here now lol. I have that song stuck in my head now.

I also would like to know why there was no apology from Darcy's end to Georgie when he showed her the divorce papers. She's been so accusatory but couldn't come up with a genuine apology? Goes to show that maybe, just maybe she shouldn't have believed everything that Octavia had said.... or maybe Georgie does have a right to complain about her insecurities and her trust issues. She constantly is asking questions in the most unflattering ways. I'd have run away a long time ago if I was him. 😂
I think Stacey unconsciously sabotages Darcy and take her parents, Florian and friends on board with her. She does this to appear as the most stable/successful. Dorian isn’t any better than Georgie but they all fail to notice that. As a massage therapist it’s very difficult for Georgie to find employment in gyms/spas during the pandemic, he also moved to a different state so he hasn’t had a chance to prove himself as a financially supportive partner. Darcy should keep some privacy or rely on different people for those matters.

I heard an interview with a handsome, seemingly “normal” British young man. Darcy met him on the internet and spent a few weeks with him in England, paying for everything. He said she was completely normal and they had a great time. When TLC spoke with him and he didn’t want to be on the show, she dumped him. We are watching someone who wants attention and money, not love.

In my opinion if there wasn’t a part of Darcey and Stacey that didn’t believe that about themselves they would be less inclined to believe that someone said it about them.
At this point I’m just ready to throw the whole show away!! You know it’s bad when Dr. Honda gets flustered!!!🥴🤣 🗑🚯🚫 if I was in the sthis situation and my friends didn’t get along with my boyfriend I would just hang out with them separately instead of acting like middle schoolers. Dr. Honda I agree with you. Georgie has not done anything wrong and seems to be genuine and up front with Darcey. She needs to address her insecurities and go to therapy instead of listening to gossip and rumors. She consistently goes to other people for advise and opinions. She never listens to the person she is in the relationship with. To me this makes Tom and Jesse's frustrations with her seem way less wrong. That she turns to others for how she should lead her life tells me she isn't able to think for herself, is not differentiated, and that is why she has to constantly say she is a strong, independent woman. I do think Stacey and the friends enjoy sabotaging her. Georgie has been so patient and put up with a lot of confusing behavior. I wish she would listen when he told her she is killing the love he has for her. This is just sad to watch but a reminder to everyone external things will not make you happy unless you work on what is inside your mind and soul. I really would like to know what happened in her marriage and why they divorced.
It kind of seems like Darcey's entire friend group including her sister all count on her doing poorly. It's like everyone is over-identified with her being "the messy one."

I don't know about biased, but what strikes me about Georgi is that he never says something straight up. When someone asks a yes or no question, he says things like "why wouldn't I?" Or "what do you think?" In Darcey's shoes, I would be incredibly triggered. He sounds like a lawyer. I keep wondering why he goes through so much trouble to evade the question. Even throughout this video (idk if kirk edited it out) I never heard him say "no, I never said that" or "I don't think you're trash and I don't have plans to leave." He responds with counter attacks like "oh so you heard it from a friend of a friend."

Dr. Honda, you are not biased towards Georgi. He has had multiple attacks towers his character and he still maintains his patience. Darcey has a lot of schemas she needs to work on to help the relationship.

On another point I’m completely in favour of Georgi, he could be an absolute horror but I’m just not seeing it. These girls come across as living for the drama, they seem to get off on each other’s falls and they 100% trigger each other
