Always watching your content on TH-cam. Keep up the great work. Pleasure to watch. Just wishing I could of met you. I was staying at Sala Danang hotel two weeks ago. Can't believe how nice Vietnam is. Hopefully I will return some day. Mark
I have spent a lot of time in both Danang and Hoi An. I think they are great places to live. I go between them and Thailand for 6 months at a time. Vietnam is so so affordable
Wow. How it's changed. Had a fab couple of trips there 10+ years ago but it wasn't nearly as developed. May have to head back in Jan as the attractions too amazing. Keep up the great work LJ. You're a star
I’ve just returned from 2 awesome months in Thailand and Vietnam. I’m back in Sydney and it’s freezing and to be honest very boring. No entertainment, ridiculously expensive. Crazy real estate prices. Over governed and policed. Da Nang is looking very appealing for a new home. Not sure if I can live there full time but may give it a try. Your not missing anything in Oz M8.
Do it Glenn! My girlfriend and I moved to Da Nang about 6 months ago from the US (we are 35 and 28) and we absolutely loved it there… we are now living in Hoi An on the beach side and love it even more… the quality of life is 1000000x better… we likely will never go back to the states. Best decision we’ve ever made moving here.
Great video as always M8. but you're missing that Esquire touch. you have to implement "Coming at you like a bomb" on your videos. It's just not Esquire without that in the beginning..👍👍
I watch your channel now over 4 years and you are one reason i finally moved to thailand. One time you did me a favor with Tida back then, you went to my girlfriends beauty salon in hua hin at high covid times. I not know if you can remember :-) All the best man, let the videos coming !!!!
I did one night in Hoi An with a lovely. Great place. We ate the best food, and it was so cheap. You mentioned the coffee. I always say you could not get fat in Vietnam on the food. The food is pretty much meat and vegetables but with the most amazing sauces.
Coming at you like a bomb has exploded & has been replaced with (lets keep this train rolling) 😊 same same but different, another quality video, really well put together & a joy to watch......Jade was very charming & her playing her (looked like a gehlo) was beautiful ❤️
was in Da Nang and Hoi An in April and headed back for a month in July. Living in Bangkok but agree there is just something special about Vietnam. I gotta try that 7 Bridges! Cheers!!
Hi mate,Just wanted to say i appreciate seeing the places you go and showing what there is to offer ,foods,Restraunts, bars ect and some of the things to do in the locations you go and the time you put into the camera work and just explaining everything keep bringing the good video blogs👍
Ngoài Sài Gòn sợ bị cướp,móc túi tất cả các thành phố khác ở VN đều an ninh an toàn để đi du lịch một mình cũng nên tránh nơi đông đúc như chợ đêm Đà Lạt
We went to Hoi An a little over a year ago. We knew you were in Da Nang a lot and hope to meet you on that trip but it didn't work out. Glad to see you make this video from there...a magical place indeed. ❤
Yep, I was in Hoi An recently and I loved it. I also stayed in Da Nang upon your recommendation. In fact I stumbled across an amazing vegetarian restaurant in Da Nang, which I was planing to share with you. I must send you the address. Another excellent video as always. Thank you.......
yours videos are still a breath of fresh air , very relaxing 😎 ! top 👍 very charming city and people. they have Loti same thaïland 😮 banana pancakes yummy 😋
Love Hoi An I have been twice although the second time I went I thought it had lost some of its charm due to the massive increase in tourists. Still highly recommended though and really enjoyed my time there. Keep up the vlogs mate - big love from NZ
Gday Esquire. I loved Hoi An from my visit s back in the day. Get ya strutting gear from the Taylor nearby as in a nice suit or styling dinner jacket. Safe travels dude...
Yeah, I’ve been there to Vietnam to especially where you are. I am. I went with the 6 foot phenomenon leader of pawgs. Glad your filming, gonna give us some good content looking forward to it but the last time we were in Hoi ann it didn’t look as hectic
I flocked there last August. One of my favourites. Old Town very busy in the early evening and a bit difficult to browse market stalls without super high pressure sales lol😅 Cool vlog mate🤙
Would love another Vlog where the Esquire goes on about a day like in "Breaking the Foreign Male Stereotype in Hua Hin, Thailand "! Otherwise, great stuff mate. Enjoying seeing that world through your eyes. Thank you!
Can you make a video with a detailed timeline of when you left Australia until now. Also from financial point of view how did you settle in this region and are continuing to earn money while on this journey.
I prefer to avoid the over touristed areas, everything's a hussle. I know you're thinking of travelling to the Philippines, there was a place in Cebu, IL Corso promenade, beautiful atmosphere, less of the tacky neon glare of commercialisation. There is some but the atmosphere is very much relaxed in the evenings
I can't believe how much Vietnam has changed! I was here in 1995 after the country had just opened to Americans....it was nothing like this. It was poor, tourists were mostly backpackers,, and for many people the last time they saw an American was during the Vietnam War. Beer was 25 cents a bottle and our guesthouse was $10-$12 a night. The economic miracle this country has experienced is just mind-boggling and the standard of living has skyrocketed!
been considering visiting vietnam and cambodia while im in thailand , do some 3 to 5 day trips and see how it is there and maibe choose it as the main destination on other hollidays , seems like the budget flights out of thailand arent all that expensive , heared you need to apply for a tourist visa upon arival though
Great to see you again mate. Personally, Vietnam is one of my favourite destinations to write about. So Davao is it? Are you cooking up a storm mate? Good on you. 😊
Good to see you Esquire. Hoi An is a fun place for a day or two but not my preferred location given the flock of tourists there and the constant hustle by the street vendors. The little restaurants and shops are colorful and as you say the food is very good. Definitely worth a visit for the experience.
There’s something brewing besides your coffee in HoiAn LJ! Look for the Grand Opening of the Opal Moon in mid July! I’m sure our paths will cross sooner or later if you continue spending time in Danang. Watched u and Sai for a good while. Surprised u haven’t checked out 7 Bridges yet. I know you’re hanging at East West in Danang. 😁🍺
Guess I didn’t wait long enough! Seamus is making some pretty good brew at 7 Bridges. Sorry LJ, the Opal Moon won’t be vegan but I’m sure we can fill you with something satisfying. 😜👍🏻
I'm new here, loved when you said keep your imagination.. struggling with the rat race lifestyle and It's refreshing to see someone like you with the Aussie mentality of cheerfully and giving inspiration 👍 thanks mate! Regards from Belgium
Hi Esquire How do you do? Always fun watching you. Can you tell us the difference with Thailand regarding English speaking people. Is it better for getting understood in Vietnam ? Thanks Pal! Daniel from Quebec, 🇨🇦

About 2000 euro/dollars from Europe return flight. Too much to get excited (for winter 2month stay).
Wow. How it's changed.

I'm from Sydney...just returned from 7 months in Da Nang. Heading back asap after i stack some cash. Best place to live on earth.
Did you miss Australia and go to United States except its warm here.

Watching from the Philippines, a Brit, been here 26 years. Looking forward to your next visit here but be warned, its rainy season here now.
I was never in Hoi An but I spent a year from 1969 to 70 in Chu Lai just a little south. Lived on the beach with a little group of US Marines.
Great video as always M8. but you're missing that Esquire touch. you have to implement "Coming at you like a bomb" on your videos. It's just not Esquire without that in the beginning..👍👍
maybe not quite as appropriate for an aussie to say that in Vietnam....given the past and all that lol
But i agree i like esquire catch phrase
@@pj-vq3by 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hey buddy, thanks for the kind words. sometimes dropping that phrase while Im in Vietnam just doesn't feel right 😬
