He does sound great on this tune. In fact I'd say he's getting stronger on these tunes as the years go by. Definitely less tenuous then the early years, which is understandable given the situation of how he came into the gig. Definitely seems to be the right guy for the gig--and really does the music justice. I enjoy listening to him sing the tunes!
@@bluehornet6752 It makes sense too, I'm a singer myself and I've noticed that the more you do a song the more your voice gets comfortable with it. It's a muscle just like any other, so it makes sense that doing the same movement over and over it would get easier. Plus the more comfortable you are with your band the easier it is to sing also.

There would've been a Boston without Brad definitely. But there definitely never would've been an out of the box successful Boston without Brad either . Get Real !!
Tommy sings well, but wearing all black? Ugh, so plain & boring. And he has no lively, energetic, or exciting stage presence. To get the audience engaged & excited, need to do more than just point to people, smile, slowly walk around the stage, and clap your hands. I've seen Boston live 6 times with Brad Delp singing, but never felt inspired to see Boston with Tommy. Sure the music would sound awesome as always, but seeing DeCarlo up there would be boring and annoy me. When David Victor was with Boston, he brought so much rock star excitement to the stage, he would cheerlead, engage the crowd and get them even more pumped up & going. I was about to buy tickets to see Boston when David was with the band on tour, he'd really help bring inspiration & excitement to the stage beyond boring DeCarlo, then I learned he was suddenly no longer with Boston, and then I wasn't interested in buying tickets and traveling to see Boston as much as I love them. Boston with Brad was awesome, the last Boston show I saw was in 2003 and it was the best I've seen & heard Boston, and I wanted that as my last cherished memory of seeing Boston live. Seeing Boston with DeCarlo for me would have been a downgrade, and I much prefer my last memory of a Boston show, or so to speak 'go out on top' IMO Tom Scholz needs to find a lively & exciting new singer like Arnel Pineda with Journey, or Kelly Hansen with Foreigner. But I hope everyone who sees Boston with DeCarlo loves it and has a great time!

I would give Christian the benefit of the doubt that he might be referring to how Barry and Fran aren't in the band, not complaining abt the absence of dead members.
I always loved that intro!
Good performance, good filming.
This is pretty effing terrific! Something About You and Hitch a Ride are my favorites from that album.
Mine as well.
There will never be another brad but DeCarlo is pretty dam close great voice

it's no wonder tom toured so much from 2008-2017. he hand picked the band and made the best live boston sound ever. must have had a blast
James LaBrie killing it on vocals!
This song is one of my favorite's of theirs...the live version is pretty good!

There would have been a Boston without Brad. There would never have been a Boston without Tom. Discussion over.
maybe, but you can't argue the true core of the band was its incredible vocals... also tom is a douche cannon

Well no shit, most of these songs were recorded 40 years ago. Humans don’t have the ability to stop time progression to please you, Christian.
