I've been enjoying this series. I actually have a little over 1kg of recovered tin/lead solder. It's mostly 63/37 and all pre 98 so I'm not expecting much in the way of bismuth or antimony. I'd like to recover the tin from it. don't care about the lead but if I can recover that too that'd be cool. Watching you here I'm thinking of dissolving all in HCl and then running it through a very fine filter paper over and over until it comes out clear followed by the electro cell. I expect I'll need to electro-refine it a few times increasing the purity each time.
    Thoughts?

Sounds like you are on the right path if you are trying to get some pure tin. Glad you have enjoyed this. I hope to be doing more with this soon.
