I think Michigan returning Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant, Josaiah Stewart, and Derrick Moore and using the portal to boost the secondary's depth will be the biggest part of their 2024 success. Michigan will once again have a Top 4 defense, and it could be the nation's best.
@@halowarrior917I hope so brother . Orji definitely has the arm and also athleticism . Just hope he’s got it between the ears too. (I’m not hating on him or doubting him…just acknowledging that we haven’t actually seen anything yet in regards to his progressions and real time decision making ) If he can even be half of denard and half of Gardner, I think they have a legitimate chance to repeat. As long as our o line is at least above average also . The sky is the limit for this team . Balee dat!
Michigan knows who the qb is gonna be and that's all that matters. If Davis Warren or Tuttle actually start over orji , then either orji is horrible, which I don't believe for one second or those kids are just good. And if they are good , we are gonna be good. And the wrs are underrated ! All of them have a higher ceiling than the guys we had during our natty runs. Our style of play is what makes us Michigan, and if you ain't tough, you're gonna get beat.
No, I can just be objective while also maintaining my fandom. It's understandable why people think Michigan will take a massive step back this year, even though I disagree and think they will take a step back but still be elite or close to elite. Saying Michigan will take a big step back is different than saying something idiotic like Michigan will go 7-5 or Alabama will be terrible without Nick Saban.
Returning production is not overrated, but the elite programs and teams know how to win in spite of a lack of returning experience because their development and coaching is superior.
Our passing game is going to be subpar, and it will likely render the offense one-dimensional and inefficient. The defense will still be elite, so I'll say 9-3. But, frankly, without good QB play, the season might as well be a wrap. There is no more obvious of a sign that a team will not compete for a title than a lack of good QB play.
I am in wait and see mode too. I was wrong big time on Minnesota and Michigan State last year in relationship to who would be good in the Big Ten, I will be wrong on at least one team this year, or a few if we want to get into specifics. I don't think I am wrong about Michigan going over 8.5 wins and reaching the CFP, but you truly never know until it all plays out.
This podcast used to be good, but because you are such a Homer, it’s difficult to watch. TCUN are not going to be ranked where you believe. Really a shame. Maybe I’ll be back at the end of season or after your final report from the NCAA. Good luck.
Returning starters is such a massively bad point to make against Michigan in reality they rotated so much you could claim Grant Benny Stewart D Moore Hausmann Q Johnson Morgan Morris Bredeson Edwards And even McBorrows All rotated with the "starters" This team has way more returning production and starter players then people think Also Orji is the guy, Warren is best arm but not best QB and has been rumored to turn it over a good amount, Tuttle really isn't as experienced in terms of the system as many think Orji and Warren both have 3+ years in the room. Pluss Tuttle is coming off surgery and seems to be banged up again per multiple reports. Orji also appears to have taken a big step forward this off-season to the point that a lot of times the starting offense is 50/50 against the starting defense which is a big sign of a better offense then people think.
I say M goes 9 -- 3 and the BUCKEYES kick their ass ! -- Too much new & different & some humble pie for the fan base. ( Texas - Oregon - OSU ) - - - Josh Pate - with all his "models" - - and - 'supreme knowledge'...... picked > OSU -- to beat -- Texas -- for the National Title. ----- Joel Klatt - and all his infinite wisdom - has the Buckeyes as #1 in the Country - pre season !
OSU does have issues, no doubt. A DL that was 60th in sacks (92nd if you exclude the 6-sack game vs Mizz), QB ceiling, depth at RB, OT, DL, LB, TE, Justin Frey and Jim Knowles has never coordinated a defense that has finished in the top-40 in turnovers.
Sign stealing is legal. We need to start calling it "Advanced In Person Scouting Scandal" 😂 Maybe then people will realize Connor Stallions had nothing to do with Michigan winning
Look; I bleed maize n blue. Have since I was 5yrs old & watched Harbaugh QB Michigan. But these predictions of 13-0, 12-1 or going to the national championship game are simply absurd & unrealistic. Ultimately setting up the program & fan base for failure & disappointment. They have the toughest schedule in the country! They play 3 top 5 teams! They lost every single coach & coordinator except Moore basically. They lost their QB & almost every single contributor outside of Edwards, Loveland, Will Johnson & couple more defensive players. It’s just a super homer take thinking this team will go 12-1 or 13-0. If they beat everyone they’re suppose to & lose against the big 3 of their schedule & sneak into then a k end of the playoffs as a 9 or 10 seed would be a HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT! I understand our defense was elite & that we are super strong at key positions such as the interior d line & cornerback. Still tho we as fans need to come back down to earth IMO. Maybe im wrong? Hopefully I am. But we’ll see… Go BLUE!!!😤🤷🏻♂️ Michigan vs everybody!!!✊🏼
I love your videos but your bias towards Michigan since 2022 has been noticeable. Zero chance Michigan goes undefeated unless their passing attack is better than last years which is not a given. I say 9-3 and 10-2 is the ceiling
You don't have to go underfeet it anymore. Or have one loss with Michigan schedule. Two or three losses get you in the playoff. And they're gonna be increasing the playoff to 14 teams. I hear and then eventually I hear they're going to 16. So it really doesn't matter. Who really cares if you went in the big 10 anymore, that's the problem or any other conference. As long as you get in the playoff, you've got a chance. I personally don't even think they should have a conference championship game anymore. What's the sense in it.
I think they probably go 10-2 ..but ya can’t say they have ZERO chance to go undefeated ..because they uave a nasty defense . If a few pieces come together better than expected on offense , and then the defense meets expectations ? There’s a chance . Not gonna say it’s likely . But definitely a chance
I just get a sense you’re living in 23. If u guys get down 10 points and have to pass the ball you are SCREWED. not one returning starter on the o line. Not 1
Yeah, because they all went to the NFL. Because we developed them all. Suffering from success. Our ability to develop O-Lineman and have the most consistent, dominant O-Line 3 years in a row isn’t going to disappear over night.

Michigan runs the table this year, brother. Alex Orji is going to have Devin Gardner's arm with Denard's speed. He is going to be special.

Donovan Edwards pass catching ability is the biggest X-factor
I agree with that, especially because of the lack of returning production at WR.
Sammy boy, I love your stuff brother, but you're definitely pandering to fans of the team down south when you talk about "cheating"
Felt that with the “if you don’t count the ‘97 championship” line. You’ll never please those idiots… not worth the effort.
He’s drinking the ESPN kool-aid.
My goat, can’t wait to tune into ur daily episodes this szn
Michigan football winning back to back national championships 🏆🏆💯
Wont happen

Don't worry about the offerings still be ready
You try too hard to not sound like a Michigan fan that you're going to lose most of your Michigan fans 🤷🏻♂️

Ya they can't handle the trutj
@collegefootballwithsam losing a game or two isn't taking a big step back. It's normal, even for national title teams.
😂
Sam I think we will play a two quarterback system. (Orji and Warren)
What this season will prove is just how over rated the "returning production" statistic is
Returning production is not overrated, but the elite programs and teams know how to win in spite of a lack of returning experience because their development and coaching is superior.
I’m going with 10-2, with at least 1 Play-off win
That's very realistic and I think would also classify as a good season for Sherrone Moore.
I agree with you fully ok 💯
Awesome, Michael. Let's hope I am right.
Our passing game is going to be subpar, and it will likely render the offense one-dimensional and inefficient. The defense will still be elite, so I'll say 9-3. Michigan has 2 good QBs on the roster, Michigan football winning back to back national championships 🏆🏆💯💯 Michigan going undefeated again
You’re way too high on this Michigan team
Go Blue 💛💙💛💙
Thanks!
You are welcome. Thank you for the $2, Joseph! I appreciate your support.
Not that I sanely can agree too these predictions but doubted you last year. So now no more arguing it. I'm in just we will see mode now.

And Don edwards is not even close to Blake Corum.
Edwards most definitely close to Blake corum

Hey Sam when Michigan can win eight in a row against Ohio State then we can talk till then Michigan is still in the Bucks rearview mirror
Missed this one ' digging taters
At least you are here now Armand!
Returning starters is such a massively bad point to make against Michigan in reality they rotated so much you could claim
Grant
Benny
Stewart
D Moore
Hausmann
Q Johnson
Morgan
Morris
Bredeson
Edwards
And even McBorrows
All rotated with the "starters"
This team has way more returning production and starter players then people think

Only in Ohio do they use the spacebar like that.
Ohio State isn’t beating Michigan any time soon. They don’t have Mattison giving them Don Browns call sheets anymore.
In that scenario wouldn’t Michigan be likely to also play OSU in the Big Ten championship game?
Sign stealing is legal. We need to start calling it "Advanced In Person Scouting Scandal" 😂 Maybe then people will realize Connor Stallions had nothing to do with Michigan winning
All jokes aside if michigan doesn't clean up the special teams last year was chaotic players running into one another if that's cleaner their golden
Good show 😂

They’re playing 3 top 5 teams but those teams are also playing Michigan. Respect the teams but Michigan is just as dangerous if not more.

There is a very high chance they go 9-3. And the chances of going 8-4 might even be higher than 10-2.

Brother. I’m sorry. I just don’t see it w Michigan this year. I see nothing besides the d line and 1 cb that are great
@@bschmid100 So you don't think Titan Loveland is any good or done? Edwards is any good
