I had a French teacher (from France) in college. I think she had two outfits. Always perfectly pressed and tidy, but I think it was two skirts and two blouses.
For the first time in my almost 60 years I cleared my closet and only have spring/summer hanging in it. I turned the hangers backward so that I’ll know what I did or didn’t wear by the end of August. I will donate what I don’t wear. It’s a step towards cultivating a more streamlined wardrobe. I am looking forward to achieving a smaller and well-defined wardrobe that I love wearing every day. Your comment is so encouraging! I would like to curate my wardrobe and zero in on "my style" but worried it's too late- why bother. I just turned 60 and I guess it has been a little rough for me. Thanks to you and Jennifer for the inspiration!
This is a great video- I experienced a renewed expression of my style in August 2023. First, I’m 76, and over the years have pared my wardrobe to a “large” number of classically elegant pieces. After retiring from real estate sales, I did a major reduction in the sheer number of clothes. And the pandemic allowed much of my wardrobe to “rest.” Back to last August: i was asked to accompany a wealthy, elderly (93) male friend to London-first class everything- the restaurants, the old London “Clubs”, events! Because I needed to travel “hands-free” to be able to assist, it meant I could only take a carry-on, nothing else! Every item I packed had to have purpose, it have to coordinate with other items so that daytime and evening for eight days I had to have the appearance of easy, and comfortable elegance. In my mind I was a total success. It was so much fun to accomplish this wardrobe achievement. After arriving home I have continued to dress like this and I love it. Ps- I still have, and enjoy wearing on a rotating basis, 22 swimsuits!
It's so nice to see more people dressing up. I love getting dressed up for church and Bible study, and just to go to the grocery store, it's fun to where my nicer clothes, and I often get compliments. I definitely have more than ten items, and a lot of my things are classics that I found at thrift stores, but I agree life is too short not to where your favorite things.
I love this, and appreciate the encouragement to never mind what people think. I’m an old soul, I love dresses and skirts, and I take walks in the neighborhood every day. Sometimes I’m self-conscious that people probably think I’m weird, but I do it anyway because it’s me. I love the idea of how having the courage to express our true style invites others to express themselves, too. To stop being invisible in depressing, drab duds. I’m sure some neighbors do think I’m odd, but I’ve had a few lovely compliments, and actually no criticism, come to think of it. One man said he had noticed “that angelic woman”, another, “you always wear such pretty dresses!” “Your hair is so beautiful” etc… I am no model, but I hope that is encouraging to anyone else a bit shy to stand out. I think dressing well is a way of infusing joy into the world for others. It’s giving beauty, color, delight into our surrounding space, the way flowers and leaves and birds do. It’s not about wanting attention, but giving joy. It’s not about thinking we are the stuff, but offering what we have and are.
I agree with you completely! God created beauty for us to enjoy and we get to cooperate by adding our own touches. I love seeing people of all ages expressing their unique selves..
@@ccdm515 "Under the radar" is not a protection. You are still a visible human being. Confidence is one of the best means of protection. I realize there are dangerous people around, I am always alert and watchful when I walk. I refuse to live my life in fear of what could happen. I would rather enjoy every day to the fullest.
We used to watch the television show,”Madam Secretary” and the title character always wore the most beautiful blouses, mostly with a tailored pant suit,I think. They looked silky but always classy and classic, and never too low cut or see through.🙌🏻
I cannot do 10 items, I can do 20 for each season. Watching you share tidbits about your style has made me understand my own style. I am an English teacher and I love to wear pretty unique pieces of clothing that match my glasses. I’m a book ready to be opened. I am very picky and have a great style for each season. I did declutter the closet though and now have more room to see all the pretty things I have!! Thank you
I can relate to this comment. It's really hard for me to be anything close to a minimalist because I had so little growing up. And my mom grew up the same way. But, I am trying because years and years of "collecting" has turned the corner for me into an overwhelming guilt inducing amount of stress. But, I will never be a a 10 items wardrobe kind of person. I am trying to find a happy medium.❤
I think it can be an exercise for people who have too much in their wardrobe but always feel like they have nothing to wear. This will turn your over stuffed wardrobe into a curated wardrobe of beautiful pieces that you always love to wear. Regardless of how many pieces you have.
I know how you feel. Through 8th grade, I had 1 school uniform, one Sunday outfit, half to 2/3 of which was hand me down, one play outfit, and a swimsuit. Schoolmates would ask me why, on the 2-3 days per year we didn’t wear a uniform, I always wore the same thing (my Sunday outfit). I told them it was because they were my favorites. When you only have one, it’s your favorite. It’s also your worst, your most colorful, your newest, and your oldest
I love the 10 item wardrobe. For me it’s more like a 20 item wardrobe because I live in such a varied mountain climate. The method has served me very well for the past decade! I implemented it when my son was born and now he is 10! Time flies when you’re having fun! 🎉
I'm that "Classic" that always has to dtess for the occasion. Pearls, scarves, and belts help me feel polished and put together. I get compliments all the time. I'm comfortable with my style and insert some freshness into my wardrobe each season. This Summer's refresh was a turquoise linen dress and a white jacket (similar to a jean jacket, but with some unique design elements on the collar, yoke, and back). I appreciate your emphasis on simplicity, authenticity, quality, and elegance. Life itself is our work of art. Let's make it beautiful.
I'm putting together my ten item wardrobe. So far a game changer. So grateful white tennis shoes are a fab fashion statement. Because of cancer, I deal with neuropathy and nerve damage that shoe fashion is very limited. I'm going to try a pair of slides that you've showed in a previous 10 item video. thanks for the content.
Try coconut water daily apx 5x week to help w nerves (for the magnesium and electrolytes.) After 1 or maybe 2-3 months, been a while, I was able to get off nerve medication, gabapentin. I'm medication free and grateful to God. Please do try and not give up!
Hi Jennifer, I always enjoy your 10 item wardrobe videos. When I retired four years ago, it was a fresh start with my wardrobe. I was no longer tied to a business wardrobe. Most people are complimentary if they comment to me, but occasionally, people want to know where I'm going. Probably Im staying home and doing the laundry, but I look good while I do it and I'm ready if a friend calls to go with her somewhere. Thanks, have a great day!
I have read your books and love the concept. I follow your channel so I decided when we were going on our vacation in april, I would try this concept. We were gone for 3 weeks- my husband turned 50. One week it was just the 2 of us in the Dominican Republic; then one long weekend in Orlando with our adult children, grandson and my husbands parents to visit Disney and Universal Studios. Then finally 10 days or so alone before coming home. I was amazed - it felt so good not to be so overwhelmed due to overpacking. I think the "paradigm shift" for me was when we were in our VRBO rental house in Orlando. I hung up my clothing in a walking closet and it had just my items. It was beautiful and relaxing and enjoyable to get ready every morning for Disney or whatever adventure awaited us for the day. When I came home and this is still in process, I put away all my winter/ not in season items and working on scaling down to a 10 item wardrobe (maybe just a few more than that) LOL but wow!!! Im thrilled. Thank you for your videos and content. I enjoy tremendously.
I thought of giving the system a try for an upcoming trip abroad. I also get overwhelmed with packing so why try to help with my over packing tendencies AND try out a limited item capsule at the same time. Your comment really helped me decide to go ahead and give it a go.
I really need to do this. I have a stuffed closet and drawers, but like very little of what I have and I never feel like I look good. The style I’m most drawn to is “Princess Catherine casual”. She is so beautiful and always looks amazing. I would definitely need to do it on a budget though. I love your clothes (especially that white top!) but it’s out of my league. Thanks for the inspiration. You always look great.
This video is the encouragement I need to hear. I want to free myself from worrying about what others think about my clothing. Another goal is to start wearing more often my favorite pieces that I "save" to wear for a special occasion. Thank you, Jennifer!
Beautiful video Jennifer.I get dressed up.I will cross the road from my home and go to the bread shop. Then i'll go to the butchers. I feel good in myself making a bit of an effort. Then living in Italy a stop at the local caffè is a must.So yes we have to get out there.Life is just too short.Im going to be 58 this year..but at least I try my best to look nice. And everytime I see your videos just makes me try a little harder.Thankyou beautiful girl.God bless you.
I don't think I've ever felt so inspired by any fashion video or article. I don't even know if I agree or not. But you've made me think and FEEL (!) something about clothes for the first time in a very long while.
The more society wants to blur the lines between male and female the more feminine I want to dress. Thank you for your wonderful channel…so inspiring!! Gonna stay classy!!
ust popped this video on and thought you’ve been reading my mind! I work for the school district in the kitchen, so dull uniform of jeans and t-shirts (I’m not a bit Tshirt fan). I only have three weeks until summer break and have been planning to wear ALL my nice clothes everyday! Not only waiting for Sunday church to dress up. I love dresses! I love skirts! I love blazers! I love classic blouses! I love jewelry! By the end of summer I will have worn the clothes I love and discarded the ones I don’t.
Kudos. There is a huge mental health and confidence boost, which come with wearing beautiful clothing. Overcoming “Saving for good” is a challenge worth meeting. Live like a Princess.
Yes time is short. 28 family gathered Saturday for two graduates at grandparents house. Early this morning grandma had a bad stroke and things aren't looking good. Wear the good stuff everyday!
Jennifer, I have been watching you and reading your books for years. However, I never took real action steps on the 10 item wardrobe. I have made a little progress in the past, but I keep falling back into old patterns. I am 44, and I dress like I did in 8th grade. 😢 Sweatshirts and jeans. This video felt like the kick I needed.
The 10 item wardrobe changed my life. I’m finally buying clothes I love and it’s a pleasure to get dressed. Thank you Jennifer. You’ve added to my life more than you know!
Jennifer thank you for another inspirational and beautiful video. I am pregnant with my 4th and am so grateful that your book was gifted to me years ago, when I was pregnant with my 3rd. I gave myself permission to put away all non-maternity clothes and invest in a beautiful maternity capsule wardrobe that is flattering and appropriate for my body when pregnant. It has added so much joy to my pregnancy journey! So grateful for you!!
Jennifer, You have chosen especially lovely pieces for this season! Though I have been curating a “concise” wardrobe for over a decade, I still enjoy these inspirational videos. I like to think about cultivating “luxurious simplicity” in my life (and wardrobe). For me, that means: choosing what will delight and satisfy….and releasing everything that is not doing that. Whether it’s how I schedule my days, fill my plate, or how I choose my words….the intent is to identify what is bringing the most value and lean into those things. It takes restraint and consideration but it is well worth the effort. The fruit is beauty, health, simplicity, and effectiveness. Lastly, when I am pondering a decision and on the fence, I often find that “if it’s an I don’t know, it’s probably a ‘no’ “. Thank you for your beautiful content that speaks to so many likeminded people.
I found your wonderful video by chance. It really spoke to me. I am 75 with a "capsule" wardrobe of simple classic clothes . Today I have seen the light as to why my clothes don't make me happy _ I still have too many for me and I don't wear them regularly. I love simple, uncomplicated clothes and monochrome but I get quite a few unfavourable comments. I now know, without a shadow of a doubt ,that way forward for me is a ten item wardrobe to help me be my true self and be comfortable.I feel soooo excited.Thank you X
If I am just starting to pare down my closet and determine some core items I am in need of, what would be your recommendations of places to shop? I am 56 and do need to watch my budget.
🥰Jennifer , thank you so much for making me understand my style. It’s been a thrilling adventure, and I love getting dress every day and looking beautiful! Even my two year old daughter always says that I look pretty… This motivates me to know that she will her mother dressing presentable each day, even if I’m staying home all day long, which is almost 95% of the time haha!
I do feel encouraged by this video. It’s always good to be reminded that life is short and today matters! I really love your videos where you show your complete 10 item capsule for the season, so I’m looking forward to that video. Thanks Jennifer!
I just love the idea of a 10 item capsule wardrobe and for it to serve me the way you explain that it does, ie, wearing beautiful clothes and not caring what people may think. I find though that I'm nervous about drawing attention to myself when dressing well. Just love the crab Analogy so I'm going to let that inspire me to push through. 😊
I recently decluttered my closets and your video has motivated me to keep going. It is about quality, not quantity, the pieces that make us feel confident and comfortable, not necessarily trendy. I love that green dress - proof you can wear comfortable clothing and not appear shapeless!
I am currently trying to get rid of about at least 80% of my wardrobe. I’ve given things away and soul things and it’s always been a goal of mine to create my own “uniform “. Thanks for the inspiration.❤
I have a red dress I wear all the time, almost every day. I just love the style and color. It was very cheap, and the fabric is pilling, but I plan to unpick it when it becomes unwearable, and use it as a template to sew a new one in a more durable fabric, and maybe in other colors as well.
I’m just starting my capsule wardrobe journey. But if feels off bc in spring, fall, and winter, I pretty much dress in basic neutrals Parisian style. And then in summer, I’m wearing colorful, solid maxi dresses! 😂
What I also love about this system is that I find my true style, and my style can change from season to season. I don't get stuck in fashion ruts when I examine my wardrobe each season. Thank you, Jennifer!
Your style is absolutely gorgeous. You really have some beautiful pieces in your wardrobe at the moment. I love to sew, so my wardrobe is not 10 items...I love trying new patterns too much😮
❤ really enjoyed this one! I have the opposite problem, my favourite style is very formal and as much as I love those clothes I won’t be gardening or cooking in my trouser suits 🙈 not sure how to bridge that gap to still feel like myself even at home etc
I like nice clothes as well. I live a very messy life. We have a yard that requires much maintenance and my husband and I are the maintenance people. My dad was in the navy and wore a uniform. The uniforms varied accordingly to occasion and season and you didn’t wear your everyday uniform for dress occasions and vice versa. I was raised with the mindset that there’s home wear, out and about wear and special wear. At 64 I maintain this philosophy. At home I do dress casually, I don’t like to dress too preciously but, when I’m out and about I wear my out and about clothes. I like to dress according to my needs, but when I’m out I do attempt to but my best foot forward.
A lovely full coverage apron made of a lovely, durable fabric such as a medium weight linen my foot the bill. Test it out on something less formal for a bit and see how it goes for you. I am the keeper of our lawn and gardens, wear dresses, nice slacks and such. I also have a pair of cute overalls I wear with silk or linen blouses for the down and dirty outdoor chores.
@@robynwells8249I was raised this way as well. PJs/Home clothes, out and about clothes (school /work), and then fancy clothes. It's hard to meld them all together for me.
If you buy some beautiful things at thrift stores and plan to wear them and not worry about them you can still wear an apron and gardening shoes etc. and keep them nice for a good amount of time. My problem is I have $15 outfits that originally cost much more and I end up liking them so much I don’t want to ruin those either lol.
Hi Jennifer, Audrey here. I'm enjoying this video so much so that I had to pause it and tell you. Thank you ❤ I love your channel and appreciate all that I've learned from you. Especially in the wardrobe department. Beautiful classic varieties of styles
Jennifer, thank you for promoting and celebrating elegance, simplicity and being true to oneself! Btw, those sailor jeans are your most flattering and they make adorable outfits with your blouses and tops. Brava! Love from Paris.
I try to kick it up a notch when I go out with my husband even if it’s doing errands …At home I’d love to dress better but I just end up ruining my JCrew stuff ! Cooking , stinky laundry, my dog , I just need to save my good stuff since I do not have a lot of it🦋🦋🦋
I love this way of dressing. I declutter my home often, I just did my wardrobe today. I removed 3 items and organized my drawers so I can see what I might add for Fall/Winter. Also, I don’t have lots of room so it has to be very thought out. I have learned I love cotton tops, shirts and blouses. I also love blue, so I have variations of blue in my closet. Setting up and storing clothes is so fun. Being able to find things and wear them becomes even more enjoyable. 😊👗🧥👚🥿👟🩴
OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your style. Your dresses are so beautiful, and that Doen top is one I would absolutely wear everyday too. Beautiful clothes, and they look so beautiful on you! Thank you for sharing this…
When I was working in an office I dressed business casual 100% of the time. I gardened in dress pants, I cleaned and did everything else in whatever I wore to work that day. It is helpful to use natural cleaners that don't ruin your clothes. I even paint in whatever I am wearing when I get the urge to paint. @@ashiklal260
I dress very differently from the ubiquitous black or gray gym outfit “uniform” that everyone wears here in NorCal. For one thing, I can only wear natural fibers, I prefer dresses and skirts over any trousers, and generally look “dressier” because of these elements. I do get those “what are you so dressed up for”? snide remarks, but I don’t care what other people think anymore, I’m 64 and dress only to please myself for decades now. If I had to wear that hideous polyester/Spandex gym uniform everyday, I would never get dressed at all! I think my soft, breathable dresses and skirts are the most physically comfortable choice of all. I wear a lot of silk and linen this time of year, and some cotton, if not too thick and hot. I also don’t wear denim, I just hate the feel of it. It’s just that fashion expectations have changed, dresses/skirt outfits were the daily wear of women when I was in my 20s-40s, we didn’t wear pajamas or exercise outfits as daywear until very recently, and I never will.
I agree with you. I'm 62 yo, and denim is not comfortable to me! Also, it so engrained in me from my mama that you dress presentable and yoga pants and pajamas are unacceptable other than their intended use❤
Your look great in everything you pick. I have the situation that I like classic and business type dresses and everyone says I’m so dressed up . But I just feel comfortable and I like this style so that’s what I wear.
I do mostly have a classic style but do love flowing bohemian dresses especially in summer, is that weird? Great video Jennifer, you always look wonderful!
Jennifer, I love your style! I can't wear anything except jeans or legging style because I am short & plump and I have a large abdominal hernia. I have been trying to find flowy tops to go with my jeans. I do have nice shoes and sandals. You inspire me.❤️ I do attempt to IF most days.
I've always worn a uniform for work which made getting ready a breeze. When I moved into a position where I could wear business casual, I bought 5 of the same black silky shirt, 2 pairs of jeans, and 3 cardigans. That was my work "uniform" and I wore the same pair of shoes until seasons changed. No one at work ever commented on my clothing and I felt confident every day. Now that I'm staying home with my baby, I should try the 10 item wardrobe as I like a few different colored tops. My style is not dressy, but I do only wear proper pants (nice jeans) when I go out into public. I don't view leggings and pajamas as appropriate streetwear.
For me, this wardrobe system is the best and easiest to maintain. One main benefit for me was to get more content with my clothes and to want and shop less. There were times when I was never happy with my wardrobe and wanted to replace almost everything each upcoming season (which is stressful, expensive and eventually impossible). Now I review my small collection before the season (or I take note at the end of the season what I will need the next time this season comes around). Often I'm still happy with most of it and look forward to wearing the pieces (I used to dread the new seasons because I had "nothing to wear"!). And if I want to replace something or try something new it is only 1-3 pieces now.
I adore the 10 item wardrobe system; it's fun learning my true style, I spend nearly half what I used to on clothes, I look better and love the way I look. I buy fewer, but better quality items, contributing less to the waste in the garment industry. I've been refining this for nearly 2 years, but it's well worth it! Bonus; packing for travel is so much easier. Full disclosure...I AM wearing sweatpants at this moment because I just got home from work and had to toss my pants in the laundry in hopes to save them from a coffee stain. Wanted to be honest. ;)
This is so good to read as I’m in the beginning stages of doing this myself! I’ve bought one too many random things that I don’t even think I like lol. I’m excited to curate my wardrobe and see what I actually gravitate to and feel good in!
Hi Jennifer. Yes this video has inspired me to revisit my own wardrobe with new adjustments. Thankyou for this talk and i'm looking forward to seeing your final piece. Love Beverley ❤

Hello Jennifer, Thanks so much for this video your clothes are beautiful and feminine. The ten item wardrobe is something I am going to do ASAP I have too much clothes thanks for the inspiration. 😄
Iv always cared about my clothing, even as child, I’d always love seeing what some of my moms classy friends wore:) At 41 and 6 kids later I still care. I have a Boden dress Iv worn for the 6th summer now. I was looking at all the pictures on my phone over the years and there are so many pictures of me in that same dress lol. It still looks great! I wish I could show a picture of it lol. I love clothing so much❤️, I could care less what others think, Iv gotten comments my whole life “ wow, you are pretty fancy”. I find it so funny because I’m just wearing clothes. A simple casual A- line skirt, tee shirt and a pair of sandals…….. this is not fancy 😂.

You ARE very beautiful, though, judging from your profile picture. I agree. I love dresses, too.
@@melligolightly Thank you for your kind words! 💝
In a world full of opinions and noise, you boldly (and beautifully) own your style. That is my favorite thing about you and your channel! 🏆
Thank you so much, Hayley! ♥
In a world full of opinions and noise - well written! It's so true.
Thank you
I owned 3 pairs of pants and 4 tops in high school. I will never go back to minimalism. I love my overstuffed closet, like a miser with his gold.
@@ShellTay32Same for me.
I think it can be an exercise for people who have too much in their wardrobe but always feel like they have nothing to wear. This will turn your over stuffed wardrobe into a curated wardrobe of beautiful pieces that you always love to wear. Regardless of how many pieces you have.
I try to thin my closet as well as add 1 or 2 items each season…
Fantastic!
Thank you! I'm glad this has helped!
Try coconut water daily apx 5x week to help w nerves (for the magnesium and electrolytes.)
After 1 or maybe 2-3 months, been a while, I was able to get off nerve medication, gabapentin.
I don’t think 10 items is practical but it’s inspiring.
Wonderful!! Yes, vacation is a great way to sample the ten-item wardrobe.
I thought of giving the system a try for an upcoming trip abroad. I also get overwhelmed with packing so why try to help with my over packing tendencies AND try out a limited item capsule at the same time. Your comment really helped me decide to go ahead and give it a go.
@@ShellTay32 yay! enjoy your trip and let us know how it worked out for you.
I love the white feminine blouse you have on. I love the look of a feminine top with jeans.
Some people are dressing better, finally. It’s a very welcome change.
The more society wants to blur the lines between male and female the more feminine I want to dress. Thank you for your wonderful channel…so inspiring!! Gonna stay classy!!
I have that too!
ust popped this video on and thought you’ve been reading my mind!
I love that white pin-tucked blouse! So so pretty!
I'm excited for you to go on this journey! ✨
I'm in the same boat!
Jennifer, every time you speak about this, I feel that I understand it more. This was a good one! :)
I'm so glad! It's nuanced! haha
Jennifer! This was so wonderful to hear. Thank you! I don't care what people say about my style. I'm doing it anyway!! ♥
Yes! 🔥
First video of yours I’ve seen. Very inspiring philosophy and practice.
It seems like your style is actually a little bit of everything and that gives you variety even though it is limited.
Thank you for this lovely channel, Jennifer!
Thank you!
If I am just starting to pare down my closet and determine some core items I am in need of, what would be your recommendations of places to shop? I am 56 and do need to watch my budget.
That is so true! We can wear the same outfits. It’s about looking well dressed.
You have such a beautiful style, Andrea!
you look great in that blouse!! Thanks for your videos!
I do feel encouraged by this video. It’s always good to be reminded that life is short and today matters! I really love your videos where you show your complete 10 item capsule for the season, so I’m looking forward to that video. Thanks Jennifer!
I'm moving into a larger Apartment, so I'm enjoying knowing I will have that extra sacret space I need to keep my clothes in the right order!!👌
You hit the nail on the head..my outfits make me happy😊 even if all my friends think I'm overdressed❤
Xoxo Stacie
Jennifer, you inspired me to put on an expensive silk blouse that I rarely wear. Actually excited to get dressed this morning! 😊
I have a red dress I wear all the time, almost every day. I just love the style and color. It was very cheap, and the fabric is pilling, but I plan to unpick it when it becomes unwearable, and use it as a template to sew a new one in a more durable fabric, and maybe in other colors as well.
I think unbound wool has a deal where if you wear one of their merino wool dresses for 100 days, they give you $100.
I love to sew, so my wardrobe is not 10 items...I love trying new patterns too much😮
I love your style and think your fit is classy and classic. Something body-con will never be.
I bought the Doen Henri shirt on your recommendation and I absolutely love it, thanks for sharing!!
You look great in those! The dresses fit you perfectly and the outfits!!!
Thank you so much, Audrey! ♥
Jennifer, thank you for promoting and celebrating elegance, simplicity and being true to oneself! Btw, those sailor jeans are your most flattering and they make adorable outfits with your blouses and tops. Brava! Love from Paris.
My lake pajama dress arrived last week. I love it so much. So comfortable.🎀
I try to kick it up a notch when I go out with my husband even if it’s doing errands …At home I’d love to dress better but I just end up ruining my JCrew stuff ! Cooking , stinky laundry, my dog , I just need to save my good stuff since I do not have a lot of it🦋🦋🦋
I always wear an apron over my clothes when I am doing house work, cooking, laundry etc.
I came to the ten item wardrobe system intuitively 20+ years ago ❤ because it was practical and authentic ❤️ Thank you for your your channel❤
Love your ONE WORD: authentic!! that's so me and my whole business (which is all about music, art, growth and support for othes)
OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your style. Your dresses are so beautiful, and that Doen top is one I would absolutely wear everyday too. Beautiful clothes, and they look so beautiful on you! Thank you for sharing this…
I couldn’t go out and dig up my garden in my fav nice clothes. I guess it’s all in what you do in a day.
Exactly! I always wonder what these minimalists wear when they cook, clean, garden....you need a bit of clothes for normal activities!
I would think they have clothes for outdoor and indoor work tasks.
Hi Jennifer! I'd love for you to count out the ten pieces, so we can see how you calculate them please, and knowing what not to count.;) xx
I believe that dressing well goes together with a good, updating yet classic hairstyle. My personal opinion.
Hear, hear! (I’m 64 and agree!)
Same here!
No! Why is it weird ?
What you said about dresses, that are as comfortable as yoga pants, I agree with you 100%. I like to wear them all the time, even in winter.
I think you look great! Love the clothes you selected. Elegant but not fussy.
Jennifer, I love your style! I can't wear anything except jeans or legging style because I am short & plump and I have a large abdominal hernia. I have been trying to find flowy tops to go with my jeans. I do have nice shoes and sandals.
You inspire me.❤️
I do attempt to IF most days.
I have done this and I am building a summer Victorian/Cottagecore style. It's what I like.
I like your dresses. They look comfortable and modest. 💐
I like how you address the psychology of this. It’s so easy to grab a tshirt and leggings when you don’t want to put in the effort.
You are lovely. Thank you for your example to us. Love, Eva
You are so elegant. I love your clothes
Nice pieces. I struggle to good nice dresses. Any hints from other viewers?
7:55 what is that striped blouse please ? Isn't listed. Thank you.
I think the trick is also to find your true style. For me that can be very challenging.
Wonderful testimony. Thank you!
I repeat outfits. I can’t imagine trying to keep track of what I wore the “last time”. You have lovely style.
Hi Jennifer. Yes this video has inspired me to revisit my own wardrobe with new adjustments. Thankyou for this talk and i'm looking forward to seeing your final piece. Love Beverley ❤
You are Gorgeous ❤ Thank you so much and greetings from Canada ❤
Ah, thank you so much!
When I taught Kindergarten I had a student ask why I didn’t have more clothes! I wore the same 6 or 7 outfits.
Your dresses are just beautiful ❤❤❤❤
I love your Style combining ideas! I just feel lost sometimes for the upcoming Seasons? I take a screenshot of your outfits..and I just go out and get the best matching Vibe!👌👌👌For this last Fall..I was able to find every single Outfit one you put up on your Shorts video!😄
Hello Jennifer,
Thanks so much for this video your clothes are beautiful and feminine. The ten item wardrobe is something I am going to do ASAP I have too much clothes thanks for the inspiration.
😄
Love that blouse. I didn't get the brand. Would love to find one.
How do you go about 10 item wardrobe?
I love your blouse 👚 💕
