Thanks, I wondered why the band saw I got secondhand made a weird whine when i plugged it in, thought i'd have to buy a new NVR - turned out the in/out neutral wires were round the wrong way. You just saved me some money on a new one. Scary thing is, i got it from a business and it had been PAT tested

I bought a new safety switch for my bandsaw but I can't get the old one out of the surrounding black housing. Any ideas?
