Mailbox Peak trail is located in Washington, one hour from Seattle. This trail has two entrances, the "new trail" which is the easiest but longest and the "old trail" which is more difficult and shorter. We decided to do the old trail, which is considered one of the most difficult trails in Washington. It is used for training and to challenge yourself. Although it is difficult, on a clear day it has spectacular views of Rainier Mountain and surrounding areas. Discover Pass is required for parking.
Mailbox Peak trail esta localizado en Washington a una hora de Seattle. Este sendero tiene dos entradas el "new trail" que es el mas facil pero mas largo y el "old trail" mas dificil y mas corto. Nosotros decidimos hacer el old trail, la cual es considerado uno de los senderos mas dificil de Washington. Es utilizado para entrenamiento y para desafiarse a uno mismo. A pesar que es difícil, en un día claro tiene vistas espectaculares de montaña Rainier y alrededores. se necesita Discover Pass para el estacionamiento.

Just went yesterday....it was pain on the way up....as well on the way down. Wish they put the mailbox at boulder....those last hike after the boulder feel like forever.
