    Additional vocabulary for this video:
    for the record - if you say that what you are going to say next is for the record, you mean that you are saying it publicly and officially
    license plate - a metal plate with special numbers and letters that police can use to identify a car owner
    crosswalk - a special place for pedestrians to cross a road
    to reverse - to drive a vehicle backwards
    handbrake - a device operated by hand that prevents a vehicle from moving
    side mirror \ side-view mirror - a mirror fixed or positioned to the side of a vehicle that allows the driver to see what is behind and to the right or left of the vehicle
    ticket - a piece of paper that a police officer gives you for breaking a driving law. Tickets require you to pay money for your mistake
    flat tyre - a tyre that does not have any or enough air in it
    transmission - the machinery that moves power from to the engine to the wheels
    skid marks - black marks on a road made by tires when a vehicle stops too quickly
    to skid - to slide along a surface so that you have no control; to slip sideways on the road
    hit the gas - to push down on the accelerator in a vehicle in a forceful way
    hit the brakes - to step on a vehicle's brakes hard and fast
    rush hour - the hour or hours when the most cars are on the road
    bumper to bumper - if traffic is bumper to bumper, the vehicles are so close to one another that they are almost touching and are moving very slowly
    to overtake - to go past another vehicle; to come from behind another vehicle or a person and move in front of them
    to stall - if an engine stalls it stops working suddenly and without you intending it to happen
    to tailgate - to drive too closely behind the vehicle in front (disapproving)
