This is an extended version of the stand off cutaway gag from my first Story Time Set video. I had additional footage following the end of that production and I decided to put something small together just for fun. The 2007 clones find themselves slowly being replaced around 2009 and so they decide to take a stand!
Now those who have been around on this channel know where I stand on the CW figures, and just to reiterate, I did not make this to hate on the CW clones. I don't prefer those figures but with the context of the documentary, my interests in creating this was to illustrate more of a comparison between them and the figures that I do prefer. Of course, in a stand off, there can only be one victorious party but my commentary of preferences are limited to a mere personal opinion, and to those with preferences otherwise, you have my deepest respect.

Why do those old clones with slit-visors always look so cool
I think it has something to do with the authenticity that they were the first clones minifigures and depending on which generation you grew up with, you'll likely favor that particular edition. For me, it was definitely these guys; something about the helmet possessing the same shape as the stormtrooper helmet just feels like the perfect proportion for a lego figure

Good question! I'm working on editing two films and I'm shooting a new one right around now. It's a pretty large project but I'm hoping to focus on the story. Hopefully those who enjoyed Capital Strike will like it!

Thank you for letting me know! I'm actually on the hunt for a possible phase 2 Rex, so if the one you saw on Instagram is up for sale, then I might just have to look into it!

Out of curiosity what is your opinion on the more recent versions of the 2020 clone troopers that came in the 501st battle pack, republic tank, the upcoming At Te, etc.
It's been a while since I've taken a look but I actually quite like where the new designs are heading! The printed visor proportions on the 501st battlepack clone helmets are probably my favorite since the cut out visor helmets and I think the purple Mace Windu troopers are really cool. However, I'm sure my perspective is limited since I haven't had the need to buy Legos anymore
