You helped me get a 100% on my quiz last week and I had no idea what I was doing before I found your channel. I have a big exam on Tuesday, and I am hoping for a good grade with your help! I quit school in my Sophomore year of highchool over 30 years ago. I am now in college doing my best with minimal math background. With your help, I am making it!
You just gave a great tutorial...thank you! I'm a retired teacher who is "guest teaching" this week and needed to re-learn this for a lesson/test. Bless you!
Convert 0.333... to a fraction. Sol. 0.333...=3/10+3/100+ 3/1000 ... =3/10(1+1/10+1/100...) --(1) Terms inside bracket are in GP. By using infinite sum of GP formula a=1, r=0.1 S=a/1-r S=1/1-0.1=1/0.9 Substituting in (1) 0.333...=3/10(1/0.9)= 3/9=1/3.
Very easy, 1.25 is rational as it does stop and doesn't repeat without having a pattern. 1.25 can be expressed as 1 whole and 1/4 added 1/4=0.25 and 1 =1.0 so 1.0 + 0.25 = 1.25 which is rational
That's what I need teachers who speak fast, loud, and very understandable

ARE ALL FRACTIONS RATIONALS??? Or only the one that ends or form pattern??
All fractions are rational. Any decimal with a pattern is rational. If the decimal doesn’t follow a pattern, it’s irrational.
@@hestiaa9354 I really appreciate your help. Thank you
Legends watching it before exam😮
i cant thx u enough
I wish you were my teacher
Am slowly becoming a genius in math
💜
I don't understand the 1.25 example
Very easy, 1.25 is rational as it does stop and doesn't repeat without having a pattern. 1.25 can be expressed as 1 whole and 1/4 added 1/4=0.25 and 1 =1.0 so 1.0 + 0.25 = 1.25 which is rational
When it is ending that's why this is a rational numbers
1.25
= 125
= 125/100
=125/100 ÷ 25
= 5/4
This i don't that understand pie can be written as 22/7
😮
