Hmmmm...I like the whole looping idea! Right now, I'm breaking up my house into 4 zones, with zones 1-3 being determined by the rooms/areas immediately surrounding or near one of my 3 bathrooms. Zone 4 is outside, which gets done as needed or when the weather is good and I have time. Laundry is divided by categories that correspond with each zone...so for instance, on Zone 1 day, I DO living room sofa throws and kitchen linens and any cleaning rags used for cleaning (no paper towels in this house), Zone 2 is the laundry area and main hallway, guest room and another bathroom, so the only laundry I do on that day is cleaning rags and guest bedding if we had guests over, Zone 3 day, I change and wash our bedding, pet bedding, and our clothes. Zone 4 day, I do kitchen linens again (only 3 sets and my dish clothes and towels get changed every day, so they need to be washed at least twice a week), bathroom linens, and any laundry that I need to catch-up on. I like my system right now, as it's the best that I've been able to come up with for my household needs after trying several other systems. It means that I'm really only focusing on weekly or deep cleaning 3-4 days a week, and laundry is usually only 4 days a week, excluding any emergency loads as needed. But I find that I still lag behind at the end of the week. So, I think your idea of looping the rooms and tasks would fit perfectly into what I'm already doing. So if one week, I got behind in Zone 3 or 4, I could start in that zone the following week, and continue in order from that point. It would make a lot of sense. As for laundry, I've got those habits and routines down so I don't really need to worry about which loads I'm doing on which days. I'm going to start looping my zones and tasks starting tomorrow, since I already have my weekly tasks planned for today and they're almost done. I'll update you in about a week and let you know how my first week went. I already have my own lists. I just need to actually put your strategy into practice. Thanks!
I live in one room...bed, kitchen and living room all in one. Trying to keep it clean and tidy is like a shit game of Tetris. Moving things from one side of the room to the other. I envy people with more than one room.
So love this. Just got up and did a small evening clean! Felt so good. Cannot find a copy of your 'master schedule' on your site...be great if your downloadable schedule could have been edited :( (I can't figure out how to anyways) Really need to print one of these and maybe other family members will feel responsible for tasks too when they see just how much there is to do!
Great idea having a schedule to keep to, then you don’t miss out any cleaning jobs, I do tend to deep clean more in summer and again before Xmas jobs like carpet cleaning and washing the curtains a nice sunny day always makes me more productive x
I am so excited to try this routine! I have been doing research for a week now trying to find something that will work for our home and our schedule and I think this may be it! Where can I find your master cleaning list? I see the cleaning schedule printable but not the master
That's very useful. Thank you very much Chelle. So thrilled with your content and I have just subscribed. :) I am also trying to find out the link to the task list. Could you please let me know the link? Thanks!

Thanks for the idea, my problem is being consistent, I have tried many schedules but in the end can't keep up with them, I'll see how this one goes.
