If you dont have anyone in your life who can guide you, find a church that teaches the Bible(not their own beliefs). Ask to meet with a pastor or someone who is spiritually mature to be " discipled", or mentored in your new found faith. Many recommend starting in the book of John. I know what it is like. My wife died 5 months ago, and it doesn't get any easier. But just as the song says, I know with certainty that she is blessed and enjoying the fullness of God's kingdom. It's about us loving God. If we love Him we will obey Him. Love God the Father and God Jesus and the Holy Spirit with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. The gospel is God loves us so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son that the world through Him could be saved. Saved, being reconciled back to God our Father. God's love is not a goey, emotional love, it's a love calling us to be faithful and endure to the end. God is also a righteous judge Who doesn't play favorites.
When I heard this song it's bring me a peace. I've lost in the darkness and I know Jesus but since coronavirus I lost my job and my life become worst even my family. My mother having cancer and need to control but in this situation my mom can't go to the hospital. Already 2 years I did not meet my family because I work in outside city. My money already runs out and also my family too it's happen because coronavirus. Everyday we just survived until the end. Everyday we fear, afraid, cried, we don't know what should we do. We just keep praying and worship Him. I believe He will never leave my family and also all of you. He is for you He is for you Amen! Please, whoever read this. Please be in the Word of God- Bible- find a translation that is easy to read, but true to it's original languages. ESV is a very good choice. Make sure you tell someone who is a Christian. If you dont have anyone in your life who can guide you, find a church that teaches the Bible(not their own beliefs). Ask to meet with a pastor or someone who is spiritually mature to be " discipled", or mentored in your new found faith. Many recommend starting in the book of John. I want to assure you, today I was sitting in my car and I played this song (never heard it) and the Lord opened the heavens and told me this is what heaven sounds like. When I heard this song it's bring me a peace. I've lost in the darkness and I know Jesus but since coronavirus I lost my job and my life become worst even my family. My mother having cancer and need to control but in this situation my mom can't go to the hospital. Already 2 years I did not meet my family because I work in outside city.
My money already runs out and also my family too it's happen because coronavirus. Everyday we just survived until the end. Everyday we fear, afraid, cried, we don't know what should we do. We just keep praying and worship Him. I believe He will never leave my family and also all of you. He is for you He is for you Amen!

His Philip, don't believe every spirit, but test them with scripture. Jesus prayed in John 17 for the unity God wants us to have. Worship has nothing to do with unity, but being in agreement with the written word of God. The Pope is calling Christians and all faiths,religions, cults, etc to be unified. I googled about Elevation worship and why Furtick named his ministry elevation. It was eye opening what he teaches and what elevation is about. He refers to God as energy as well as the Holy Spirit. That's mysticism, phillip.
In these last days we are seeing apostasy taking place. We must be as the Bereans and see what scriptures say about teachings being said.
Your a swell person, Phillip. At 77 I've learned alot through times of failing God. I came out of signs and wonders, NAR, 7 MOUNTAIN TEACHING, manifestations of the Kundalini spirit who counterfeits God the Holy Spirit. Many have fallen into deception because they aren't testing what is being taught to know what spirit it is of. The word is what we hold to. When Satan tempted Jesus, Satan used scripture. But, as with Eve, he twisted it from it's true meaning.
That is what is taking place all over the world in the church. Ppl are not reading the scriptures in context and just accept what they are being taught. Check out the warnings Jesus gave us . We can't afford to be gullible and go by emotions we want to experience. For myself, I prayed and said, I want You to work in me to be corrected and not just have experiences. I want You, God. Shortly after God made me aware of the Kundalini spirit. Had I just looked at scriptures, I would have seen that the Holy Spirit doesn't bring attention to Himself. Nothing was in the scriptures of what was going on.
