    Fleetwood 35E survived 2 degrees cold shot with space heater and propane 50lbs in 4 days. Dodged freezing entire rig on that one. i dare you to take this rig to just 2 degrees over night and live in it. That was the coldest shot we ever encountered since 2018, going full time.

    Have given up on the mid section entertainment section in favor of the front entertainment section. As my girl goes to bed early and I am a night owl so this keeps the sound as far away from bedroom as possible.

      I can see that, though I do like that if you want to go inside just for the bathroom, it's just up the stairs and to the left, or straight to grab a snack!

    Great video!! I love that RV but a little long.We just went from a 26m Redhawk class C and bought a Coachmen 27ds A. We haven`t taken it out yet (we live in Bonney Lake Wa.)but we love the Class A better than our class C. The A is so open ,in the Class c almost felt like a cave. Happy New Year you two!!

    • @CozyLivingMachine
      @CozyLivingMachine  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah, I can see that being quite an upgrade and much more light inside, especially with that big front windshield! This rig is definitely long, and I know the unit we’re getting is 38’9”, so quite a big rig, even compared to the Esteem we have. I hope you get to explore and enjoy your new motor home soon!! Washington is still pretty cold, so I kind of get it! Happy New Year to you as well!!

    Samsung does make an RF 22 vs Rf 18, wish I would have spent more time on that. It is just thicker doors. Wish I would have paid more attention to that detail. Would have bought the RF22.

    Full timer here 2018 Bounder 35E, 22k chassis is on 225 22.5s , 24/26 chassie is on 255 22.5. Me thinks this is a 22k chassis.
    : Down side to this rig Vs 2006 35E, thinner walls 35E has 1 1/2 inch thick walls.
    : 35E picks up anwar in bed slide
    : 35E picks up basement and fridge, instead of just dinnet and couch.
    : Marque Gold Onan 5500 genny is world better than any current Green box Onan (had both).
    : LG 4.5 CUFT Washer dryer here.
    :Samsung RF-18 fridge
    : Dyson V 11 in closet charging
    : Full size kitchen trash can and laundry.

      You had me second guessing things!! That's interesting because I never pay attention to the tires (I have some things to learn on that front!) but thankfully, the 35FL is on the 26K chassis with the 255/80R 22.5, though surprisingly the 35K, very similar, is on the 22K chassis. I would have thought that they would have been the same!
      Your 35E does sound great, especially if you have the little front recliner in the corner there! Thicker siding is always welcome, I do wish manufacturers would bring slightly heavier construction back, especially if they just nix the lower chassis to be able to carry more weight. That LG washer/dryer would be awesome, Samsung fridges seem to get good ratings, I would love if they'd include a Dyson! Yours seems to have a lot more creature comforts!!

    Great video as usual... You are so much more thorough than Matt's RV reviews... You give both the positive and negative about RV's... I really like the breakfast / dinette area at 4:44 into the video, which can also be used as a laptop desk / workstation... Many Class C motor homes have a very tiny space in the dinette where you have to literally squeeze in, and be crammed in... I could be wrong, but I think you guys like this RV better than the used Lazy Days RV that you saw for sale in Quartzsite. I wish the TV was more at eye level when you sit down on the couch to watch TV.. One question. Are you guys worried at all about the slides leaking in the new RV as well ?

    • @CozyLivingMachine
      @CozyLivingMachine  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks!! That's quite a compliment! I think it's easier to give the pros and cons to everything if only because we can take a little more time with each video and we're not trying to sell anything. Granted, this does mean we don't expect brands will be knocking on our door anytime soon either. 😂 I like that dinette situation as well, I could see myself setting up a workstation that's easy to stow away as needed! I do like that Lazy Daze motorhome if only because they're so well-built and they're just classic, but I definitely prefer the functionality of this unit, or rather, our Vacationer 36F that we're getting, for everyday living, future potential uses and all of the space! These Fleetwood/Holiday Rambler class As are freaking MANSIONS on wheels! I know what you mean about that TV placement, for sure. If I'm honest, I always worry about slide leaks and such on any rig with a slide, but I like the way that REV Group does their slides on these rigs, they seem a lot more solid. I'll have to learn how to articulate it a bit better, but the tolerances seem tighter here, things seem more squared away and it inspires more confidence!

    What does it take to get in to a diesel pusher? Would you then get side windows you could look out from the driver and passenger seat. Also is the generator under the bedroom in a gas model? Do the diesel pushers all have the generator in the front which would be at the other end of the coach from the bedroom? Thanks for the reviews. Wow the dash on this model is a beauty. Also I feel that when doing an RV review that they should start inside not outside. Your thoughts? Thanks

    • @CozyLivingMachine
      @CozyLivingMachine  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on used or new, but I’d say we’d be looking at $450k minimum for a diesel pusher. The DPs we’ve seen have even worse visibility from the driver seat because the door is right there, believe it or not! The generator is under the rear closet in this unit, though some are toward the front! And we go back and forth, but I figure we start with the front of any rig, and the exterior is easy to touch on while we’re out there anyhow!

    Very nice. Love the kitchen space. Did i miss the ccc? Only one bath tho. tks

    • @CozyLivingMachine
      @CozyLivingMachine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a pretty comfortable layout in our book. Not perfect for us, but solid. You didn't miss that, we did. 😂 This rig is on the F-53 26K chassis, so without having seen the sticker, I'm going to assume it's similar to the 35K and 36F, so around 4500 pounds of CCC, possibly more since it's shorter than 38 feet long! That number seems to change, depending on the fridge and windows and such. The bathroom situation is very interesting, though it's nice that it's central to the unit!

      @CozyLivingMachine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's such a fantastic unit. I can see what you're saying, though we just happened to love this table option. We abhor dinettes, they always suck, very uncomfortable, and this gives you a lot of flexibility. It's nice, because with the drop down bed over the front seats and with the couch, you don't lose any sleeping areas!
