LOVESICK GIRLS THEORY!!! Lovesick Girls’ MV subtly tells a story about Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa passing away and Jisoo narrates the unfortunate events and eventually kills herself in the end... Notice the die sign at the back and Jisoo is the only one looking at the camera when they all are in one frame... Jennie: Due to the toxicity of their relationship, Jennie’s mental health suffered the consequences and tried to seek professional help but it didn’t work out. Her boyfriend brought her flowers to help ease the situation after the session but Jennie went hysterical which then led to their car accident in the parking lot. Lisa: Lisa is in an unrequited love - vulnerable as she looked up to him with a longing gaze. In the car scene, the words “for you” were written on the hammer. This represents her stand in love - she carries the relationship and risks it all until there’s nothing left for herself. Also, you can see that the car's license plate says “bad boy” and a wall sign that says “you have to be alone” means her boyfriend had finally left her. Reaching the peak of her loneliness, she decided to end her life by jumping off the rooftop. Rosé: Rosé is in a very in-denial relationship - trying her best to keep it together by keeping their common interests alive, but they never truly worked out. The depression grew deeper and so she decided to drown herself in the bath tub. Notice the painting on the wall - a pink skull; the guitar sign that says “I miss you, I hate you;” and the blood stain on her face. Jisoo: I think it's a dream. I don't know if you've seen the credits but a lot of composers (mainly westerns alongside Teddy, Rtee, 24)worked on this album. Jennie and Jisoo co-partecipated and so did David Guetta on this title track. I recommend listening to their other tracks on THE ALBUM. They're all fire.

First I have to say, your reaction, guys, was the most complete reaction of this song that I have seen since the release of the MV!! You guys said everything that has to be said about the production and your notes about the meaning of the lyrics were perfect and well pointed! This was the best Lovesick Girls' reaction, seriously!! Complete and on point! I relate a lot with that lyrics, regard I'm not a girl hahaha, but i'm still sick of things related with relationship. I think BP made a great choice to put this track on as Tittlesong. The arrangement is perfect for me, I loved it~~The album "The Album" (LOL) is amazing and all the songs are well produced. People didn't like the feats on the album, but mainly the collaboration with Cardi, I love the production, for me it is a classy, refined and smart arrangement. The songs collab with Selena and Cardi, has the same producers, but one song sounds more teen and other more mature. Jennie e Jisoo is one of the songwriters of Lovesick Girls, alongside Teddy Park and others. Teddy and David Guetta and others produced the song and Jennie participated in the production as well. I just think in my humble opinion, they made a great album, each song is amazing in a different way. BP did a great job and the vocals are lit. (Jisoo rapping on Pretty Savage's track). This album starts to show everything that BP can show us in the future, I hope YG doesn't stop them like he did with 2ne1. Great job guys, perfect reaction and can't wait for the new MV!!!!
