Great song, great concept, talented Red Velvet and their captivating visuals.
nooooo actually the bad one is Irene! she's been controlling the girls in different MV's and in this one Joy (the one that discovered Irene was doing bad things) tried to get the other girls out of Irene's control, that's why she cut the red thread yeri and seulgi were listening and tried to escape with Wendy but at the end Irene regain the control over the girls and all the girls start doing what she wants again, smiling and playing around in that room full of dresses, that's why at the end Irene smiled in a creepy way saying psycho
this is about the wizard of Oz not about Alice, in other Red Velvet music videos you can see how Irene is always controlling the girls so she is the wizard of Oz meanwhile Joy is Dorothy Gale
Why is she closing yeri's door then? Moreover Joy also says psycho... there is a theory where Joy and Irene are an evil duo
@1 2 in the mv of course there could be more meaninga about a whole different story explaining how they r psychos but the this is another mv completing the theory of the wizard of Oz, they are following the saga
@@meisage6464 that's because Joy was about to tell Yeri the truth and help her to escape from Irene's control, she went from Wendy too, I don't know the full theory eith details but I cant 100% tell that this is about the wizard of Oz, they been telling us clues about it every comeback, when Irene was hurt by that machine is when she find out somethin was wrong (Joy was cutting the ties she made) but at the end she gain the control again
oh and Irene's been playing the innocent role the whole plan and joy is always mad that no one believes that she's not the good one, that's why she sometimes seems creppy lmao just like in the wizard of Oz

I think irene is the bad one who controls the psycho, joy
From my perspective, the story of this music video is more like the movie black swan. So it’s in essence a story of Dissociative identity disorder. So in this video, the five girls are actually five different personalities. While Irene is the main personality, joy is the one who wants to replace Irene. That’s why joy tries to take Wendy with her, talk to Seulgi secretly and closes the door of the room where Yeri is in. And from their outfits and lipsticks, we can also see Irene represents the pure white swan and joy is on the other hand the evil black swan. And in the end, joy successfully replaces Irene as the main personality, and all of the girls are playing around in the room. And through the creepy way Irene saying psycho, we can see Irene has also become evil at the end.

What I understand about the mv is that Irene was aware about what's really happening to them but she doesn't even nudge to others to do the same as she is, until joy notice that too since she began to look at mirror too. She came to the other members and help them to overcome their situation but in the end, she got captured once again and in the end, Irene was the only one who's only aware.
Every psycho reaction they show same reaction from the very 1st note of seulgi.. it hook you right away. And finally someone have same thoughts with mine about how the lyrics is so relatable bcuz its kinda what happens in ever relationship, that sometimes it make you do something crazy for the one you loved and sometimes it make you look stupid with how much you love each other.
People!! think he's right. Just re-watch the Zimzalabim. Didn't you noticed Joy was the one who controlled the elevator and took them to the roller coaster. While Irene seemingly follow them. And in Umpa'Umpa Joy was the weather girl she tried to stop the girls from going anywhere. And Irene was with them.

I love how their trying to the understand the MV.. for me I think Joy is the bad one, she is tempting not only yeri but also Wendy to do bad things. While Irene like they said she’s the godmother. For Seulgi she looks like she’s the one reassuring them especially when she sang her part ‘everything will be okay’
